20 of my best Blurt posts so far

in blurt •  2 years ago  (edited)

For myself and others, I put together a directory of my 20 most important Blurt posts over my first 7 months here, in chronological order. Enjoy!

  1. I made a Blurt introduction post about myself on 4/20.

  2. Showing how to make high-potency cannabis-infused coconut oil.

  3. My magnum opus, "What happened to the Metheralls?", a huge article that took many weeks of dedicated research, image production, and writing.

  4. "24 monthly photos showcase 2 years in the life of a tree". Turns out, these were the last photos ever taken of that tree, because as soon as we moved out, the new owners of the house chopped it down. :(

  5. Here, I calculated that as a full-time content creator, commenter, curator, and investor, I was taking home about $60 CAD per month. BLURT has fallen by 50% since then, so nowadays I'm pulling in about $1 a day.

  6. An important video I recorded of a speech by Dr. Charles Hoffe on the Covid mRNA bioweapon.

  7. My 52 minute original documentary "What is Burning Man"?

  8. My tutorial on how to make a Blurt account and start earning tokens.

  9. Doctor Charles Hoffe gave me his current evidence-based understanding of how something is transferring from people who took the Covid mRNA shots to those around them, which could directly impact each and every one of us. The video is 8 minutes long.

  10. A photo summary of my gardening adventure this year.

  11. My 10 step tutorial on how to get started on Blurt and convert earnings to Bitcoin, for free, using nothing but a desktop computer.

  12. The final conclusion of my Crypto Lunch project, proving it is possible to use the Blurt blockchain to earn crypto, then use it to buy groceries and feed your family.

  13. My demonstration on how to use nylons to improve your cannabis oil technique.

  14. A summary of my year of protesting Covid restrictions and mandates.

  15. A post on how I turned 10 years of full-time work into half a million BLURT (currently $1600).

  16. The full story of my move to Northwest British Columbia, including a terrible ordeal my family went through as a result of Air Canada's colossal mistake.

  17. My account of meeting one of professional hockey's greatest defensemen.

  18. My research article "Vegans Might Not Get Enough Of These 11 Nutrients", (and what foods they can focus on to avoid that).

  19. A controversially-titled message of unity about skin colour.

  20. A research article about how shrimp could dramatically improve the nutritional health of everyone, especially any vegans open to it.

Of course, that is merely a fraction of what I've created here, but I wanted to showcase some of the more useful and important contributions I've made. Now that my months-long ordeal (being evicted from my rental home because the owner sold it, and a botched long-distance move) is getting sorted out, I hope to produce even more high-quality original content in 2023.

The potatoes in the dump truck is the cutest thing! It's so nice when he actually helps and has fun doing it. Wish we had those meds and some prawn curry right now. It used to take hours of standing around in Vancouver to get chilled to the bone, but here it can happen in minutes on the right day.

https://blurtlatam.intinte.org/blurt/@drutter/my-crypto-journey-to-500-000-blurt

I read and this is interesting, actually I still have trauma from the Luna crash some time ago, and now I'm very poor, but I still believe that in crypto I will get back what I should get.

recently blurt piqued my interest, and was wondering why should i buy blurt & powerup?

some time ago I checked at a glance blurt pegged & hive pegged, and it turns out that there are more hives than blurt, but why is blurt lower in price?

and other interesting things, at the bottom of the post I see that there is some kind of advertisement, but I ask where will the advertising money go?

"why should i buy blurt & powerup?"
I don't have a good answer for you, sorry. If I had not done that when I started here (April and May), I would have enough today to buy 25 million BLURT, which would make me the person with the most tokens on the blockchain. But I bought right away, so I could power up, and reward my commenters. It turned out to be a terrible mistake. Ever since, BLURT has fallen in price, sometimes by a little, and sometimes by a lot (like -75% in a single week). Maybe at some point, that will turn around. If there's a crypto bull market, perhaps Blurt will ride that to success? We can only hope. But another option is the losses just keep coming. It seems the insiders have a way to print (create out of thin air) more tokens, as needed, to pay themselves to cover hosting costs and their own salary. They always win no matter what, even if that means the investors get destroyed. I don't know if that will ever end. When we get a bull market, it's possible they could just absorb the gains for themselves, leaving the price stagnant (or dropping). So please, do your own research into this before you get financially involved. It is not an organic token that merely rides on supply and demand forces, unfortunately.

"at the bottom of the post I see that there is some kind of advertisement, but I ask where will the advertising money go?"
If you mean this, "Posted from https://blurtlatam.intinte.org", it is advertising added by the front end I am using, called BlurtLatAm (it stands for Blurt Latin America, but it is not owned by Latin American people anymore). It appears on every post and comment I make, and I don't like it. I am looking for a different front end to use, but I don't like blurt.blog either, because it is not as censorship-resistant as I would like, and I don't agree with the actions of its owners.

Thanks for your comment :))

I've never seen that advertisement. I don't know who put it on your screen, but my instinct is to ignore it. Maybe try adding "AdBlock" to your browser?

i have to find out & thanks your response

This is advert on the frontend: blurt.blog... The advertisment brings in Blurt core a few quid per month... Nothing worth mentioning... No one getting rich....

Thanks, but some pound it would be useful to burn tokens or whatever it

He refers to this advertising, where does the money from this advertising go? They could use that money to add Blurt to an exchange.

No mate, you slipped a comma there... You might have 2.4 million tokens, but NEVER 24 million.

ctime owns 14 million and his wallet has a value of 45 thousand bucks... At 24 million it would be around 70 thousand! You never had 70K USD !?!?

PS: I curated your wifes post with curationcoconut... I wanted to comment my usual message and I saw she has block the account curationcoconut... Is there a reason for this? I mean the account gives her a nice curation reward and gets blocked for doing so?

Hmmm sounds like you misunderstood me.

"I was holding 17,000+ HIVE at the very top (about $60000 USD), but did not yet have a mechanism to trade/sell it, and held on through the collapse... I now have 534,300 BLURT (worth 1335 USD). But just for fun (or is it torture), what would my holdings be if I had held my HIVE earnings in a fiat currency like USD (or a stablecoin) until today, when BLURT is so much cheaper? Turns out, I could buy over 24 million BLURT with that amount, if I had only waited."

Source: https://blurtlatam.intinte.org/blurt/@drutter/blurt-is-collapsing-but-our-sibling-token-hive-is-not-doing-well-either

If I had held on to my HIVE earnings ($60k) from the top until the time of that post, I could have bought almost 25 million BLURT, check the math yourself. It's just a hypothetical scenario, a "what if".

"she has block the account curationcoconut"
I can ask her when she's up in the morning, or you can. But I did not even know we could block accounts. I personally use the mute feature all the time, especially on pointless "I voted on this post" accounts and bots, but that does not block anything.

Ok, bro I understand... but there is a German saying:

Hätte, hätte, Fahrradkette. 😜

It means as much as not to chase the missed opportunities of the past, but to look forward in positivity...🍀🤙

Nice saying :)
This is funny... my computer translated that phrase literally to "would have, would have, bicycle chain" LOL
I think it's useful to understand the past, or we are doomed to repeat its mistakes. This allows us to be optimistic about making better decisions in the future.

Posted from https://blurtlatam.intinte.org

Hehe, yepp, the bicycle chain is used because in German hätte rhymes with Kette... 😜

That's right, learning is the only thing the past is good for 👍
