More warm comforting noodles on this snowy day. Jajangmyeom, a Chinese Korean dish made with pork belly, onions, zucchini, carrots, potatoes, in a black bean sauce. I added peas to this because I had a bag hiding in the back of my freezer. It’s typically served over noodles or rice with a side of raw onions with vinegar, pickled radishes (the yellow stuff), and of course with the black bean paste to dip into. The onions and pickled radishes help cut through the richness of the hearty sauce.
