A recent study found that eating too much sugar increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. According to researchers at Oxford University in London, the more you eat sugary foods, the more likely you are to have a heart attack.

Many people use honey, brown sugar, molasses etc. to avoid the harmful effects of sugar. Many people eat tea without sugar. Many people try not to put sugar separately in food. But eat packaged fruit juices, processed foods. It also contains sugar.

Sugar is used to make packaged fruit juices, processed foods, sandwiches, and sweets. It is called 'free sugar'. It is also harmful to health. This also increases the risk of heart disease and stroke in your body.

A total of 1,10,497 people were studied over a period of about 9 years. The participants in that study ranged in age from 37 to 73 years. It has been seen there, those who eat about 95 grams of 'free sugar' per day, are at risk of heart disease.

Eating too much sugar also increases the risk of obesity. Moreover, the level of bad cholesterol in the blood increases. Blood pressure also increases with it. All these things affect the heart. Then the heart has to pump blood faster. And this increases the risk of stroke.

You need to cut down on sugar to avoid the risk of heart disease. And eat more fiber-rich foods in the diet. Studies have shown that those who eat more fiber-rich foods have a 4 percent lower risk of heart disease.
