Valley of Fire in Nevada State Park, America.

Another stunning state park I visited during my tour around America a few years back and this one was call the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada which was about 72 km out from Las Vegas city this beautiful Valley of Fire is known for it's bright Red Aztec Sandstone rocks.

Why is it called the valley of fire well of a evening when the sun is setting all these many huge rocks in this valley seem like they are on fire due to the red oxide and other pigmentation found in these huge rocks they light up like fire by the sun reflecting of them so it makes this whole valley look like it's on fire, it's certainly a stunning view to see at sunsets.

We didn't have the opportunity to stay around for the full sunset as we were just passing through we had to be in Las Vegas city to meet some friends at the casino before sunset but we did spend a few hours there walking around hiking over those amazing red rocks, it was a beautiful sunny blue sky day just the perfect for observing this beautiful valley but I would have loved to have had the experience to see the valley at full sunset.

If you decided you wanted to stay in this valley of fire state park there are many very beautiful campsites available you can even drive your own RV into the campsites all comes at a price. There are many hiking trials in this 46,000 acres state park like the White Domes Trail, Mouse’s Tank Hike, Atlatl Rock Hike and many more reaching to elevations ranging from 1,500 feet to 3,000 feet, the rock formations are astonishing dating back as far as 150 million years old you will also see lots of wildlife like Coyotes, Bobcats, Antelopes, Jack Rabbits, Snakes, Squirrels and also the plants, flowers and cactuses were all interesting to see definitely was worth the visit.
