穷人家孩子的出路 The Way out for Children of Poor Families

I have nothing to show off, but I have walked step by step from the countryside to the city with my own efforts. Looking back on the way I have gone, for a child from a poor family, I have neither background nor relationship and wealth. The only way out is to make constant efforts through reading and change my fate with knowledge.

It is true that a person should first meet the needs of basic life, so we have seen that many rural children choose to go out or even work abroad, and many children from poor families have no choice but to choose vocational schools, because this can get employed early and reduce the burden of the family. However, this is not a person's ultimate goal, but a temporary measure. It is a temporary bow and surrender to life. The aspiring children from poor families will continue to work hard during the period of working and employment, and constantly improve themselves based on their hobbies and interests, rather than become self-satisfied and muddle along.

People often say that all roads lead to Rome, but some people are born in Rome. When you struggle for most of your life, you find that your ceiling is just the starting point of someone else, so you have no reason not to work hard.

You went out of the countryside and became a worker in an enterprise through your efforts. But if you were complacent at this time, you would lose your will to fight. Finally, you would just repeat the same mistakes and play the story of history at another level. Once the enterprise closes down and you become an unemployed worker, what is the difference with farmers? Not even as good as farmers.

Therefore, the children of poor families, who have no dependence and hope, can only work steadily and continuously. This is the only way out, and there is no other way.

The process of hard work is long and difficult. Children from poor families must be careful in two aspects, otherwise they will easily encounter problems and even ruin their good future.

First, don't compare with others, and it will only bring you endless troubles. As the saying goes, it drives you hopping mad to compare yourself with the luckier persons. The family background and their own conditions are different, and there is no comparability at all. Moreover, the rural children have nothing. What can you compare with others? As soon as the second generation of officials graduated from university, they went to government agencies and institutions. They had car and house, and even arranged for their girlfriend's work. A child from a poor family who has struggled all his life may not be able to enter institutions, let alone house and car. How can you compare with the second generation of officials? You can only compare yourself with yourself. As long as you are making progress, you will be better than the past.

The second is to swallow humiliation and bear a heavy load and not be too sensitive. Children from poor families are often feeling themselves inferior and sensitive, vulnerable to harm. If they don’t deal with correctly, they will easily harm themselves. Any new thing will inevitably be excluded and hit by the old thing. Children from poor families will inevitably be rejected by people at this level after they try to enter a new level without background and connections. Therefore, children from poor families should learn to endure hardships to accomplish some ambition, and should not be too sensitive. Struggle silently and finally fly away. Use your success to make those who have laughed at you feel ashamed--This is the best means of revenge, rather than tit for tat, or hurt yourself.

With constant efforts, perseverance and unyielding will, a child from a poor family can go further with these conditions.

我身上没有丝毫值得可以炫耀的东西，但靠着自己的努力一步步从农村走到了城市，回顾走过的路，对我这样一个穷人家的孩子来说——既无背景也无关系和财富，唯一的出路就是通过读书不断努力，用知识改变命运。

诚然，一个人首先要满足基本生活的需要，所以我们看到了有许多农村孩子选择了外出甚至出国打工，也看到了许多穷人家的孩子无奈选择了职业学校等，因为这样可以早早就业，可以减轻家庭的负担。但这不是一个人最终的目标，只是权宜之计，是向生活暂时的低头和屈服。有志向的穷人家的孩子会在打工和就业期间不断努力，凭着自己的爱好和兴趣，不断提升自我，而不是自我满足，浑浑噩噩过日子。

人们常说条条大路通罗马，可有些人一出生就在罗马。当你奋斗了大半辈子，却发现你的天花板原来不过是别人家的起点，所以，你没有理由不努力。

通过努力走出了农村，成为了一名企业里的工人，可若是此时沾沾自喜，小富即安，从此失去奋斗的意志，最终不过是重蹈覆辙，在另一个层次上演历史重演的故事。一旦企业倒闭，成为了失业工人，这与农民有什么两样呢？甚至还不如农民生活得好。

故此，穷人家的孩子没有任何的依靠和指望，只能是踏踏实实地不断努力，这是唯一的出路，别无他法。

努力的过程是漫长而艰难的，穷人家的孩子一定要在两个方面谨慎小心，否则就很容易出现问题，甚至会葬送自己的美好前程。

一是不要与人攀比，那只会给自己带来无尽的烦恼。俗话说，人比人，气死人。家庭背景和自身条件不一样，根本就没有可比性，况且农村孩子一无所有，拿什么与人家相比呢？官二代大学一毕业，就进了机关事业单位，有车有房，甚至连女朋友的工作家里都安排好了。一个穷人家的孩子奋斗一生，也未必能够进入机关事业单位，更不用谈房子和车子了，你又如何跟官二代比？只能自己跟自己比，只要自己在不断进步，比过去好就行了。

二是要忍辱负重，不能过于敏感。穷人家的孩子通常都自卑而又敏感，容易受到伤害，如不能正确对待，容易害了自己。任何新生事物必然会受到旧事物的排挤和打击，穷人家的孩子通过努力进入一个新的层次，加之没有背景和关系，必然会受到这个层次里人的排斥。

所以，穷人家的孩子要学会忍气吞声，卧薪尝胆，不能过于敏感。默默努力奋斗，最后腾飞而去，用自己的成功让那些曾经嘲笑过你的人惭愧得无地自容，这才是最好的报复手段，而不是以牙还牙，或者跟自己过不去。

不断努力，坚忍不拔，有恒心毅力，有不屈的意志，具备了这些条件，一个穷人家的孩子才会走得更远。
