Grace lives with her widowed mother in Odo town. Her father died when she was 9years old. Her father's brothers seized all her father's properties and left nothing for them. They had to relocate to the village when paying rent in the city became very difficult.

Her mother owns a poultry farm, from which she sales the chicken and the product and use it to cater for herself and Grace, but the money realized from the sales is not always enough to cater for herself and her daughter. After her secondary school education, Grace started selling palm kernel to make ends meet.

Blessings on the other hand comes from a wealthy home. She was the only child of her wealthy parents. Her parents pampered her because they stayed for 10 years before giving birth to her. Blessing grew up spoilt, arrogant, lazy and rude. She refused to further her education after her graduation from secondary school.

Her father Chief Obi was so worried and concerned about his daughter's behavior. He tried severally to call her to order but all to no avail. Later on, he cuts her off from all his inheritances and also freezed all her bank accounts and sent her to the village to live with his sick grandfather.

On coming to the village she noticed that there was no constant water and power supply. She wanted to run away from the village but couldn't do so because she was financially unstable. It took her a long time before she adapted to village life. She hard to work very hard to make money to cater for herself and her grandfather because her father refused to send her money and also stopped her mom from sending her money.

Being a very rude girl, one fateful day, she insulted the village tout Gab and he called his gang to beat her up. That very day she was returning from the stream when Gab's gang double crossed her and started beating her up.
Blessing was in a nearby bush fetching firewood when she heard screams. She ran to the direction she heard the scream and met Gab and his gang beating Blessing up. She pleaded on Blessings behalf but Gab refused. She had to give Gab all the money she made that day before they released Blessing.
From that day, they became best of friends.

Grace introduced her to her palm kernel business and she was able to save up money to cater for herself. Blessing learnt a lot of good things from Grace and within 3months she changes entirely.

Grace persuaded her to beg her father for forgiveness and she did so. Chief Obi forgave her and sent her abroad to further her studies. In the process they lost the contact of each other.

Many years later, Blessing came back to the country and took over her father's company. Grace in the other hand has been job hunting for several years after her graduation from the university. One day in her search for a job, she saw a post about a vacancy in a company and went to the company to apply.

On the day of the interview, the applicants were called in one after the other to the CEO's office for the interview. When it reached her turn, Grace was directed into the CEO office. She was so surprised to see Blessing sitting down there as the CEO. The two friends hugged each other for a long time and shedded tears. Blessing gave Grace the job automatically with a lot of incentives. She also gifted she a car and a house in order to repay her for what she did for her in the past. Truly one good turn deserves another.
