Hello everyone, it's a pleasant day and also a new month.
The fact remains that risk takers are the successful people, life itself is uncertain and full of risk but only those who risk it gain it. In other words no risk no reward.
This write-up is specifically on our ventures or endeavors in life, it is also related to no cross no crown. We need to understand what the word Risk means it's the potential effect of a venture or event, which is determined by combining the probability of the event occuring and it's occuring effect. Generally, risk is mostly conventionally negative but most time we have to take the bull by the horn to change the story to a positive one.
Perhaps to break out of financial constraint, failure in school, bad situation and circumstance we need to shun pessimistic mindset that always come with It wouldn't work rather seeing things from the bright side can make our risktaking a successful story.
To understand the concept no story without a risk I have to illustrate with this story: A certain male lecturer lecturing in a certain college ( higher institution) vows that no student will ever get a distinction(A) in his course no matter what a student write, this kept happening for years and no body broke the record.
Then a certain set emerged, the students started rumoring about the lecturer and his utterances this prompted them to approach the most brightest student In their class who happens to be a girl and pleaded that she break the record. "Will that be easy?" No, it wouldn't because in Higher institution a lecturer always see himself/herself as a god over their student and has the final say on the student's score but the girl took the Risk to change the Story.
Now, as a student, entrepreneur, business tycoon or anyother profession of yours, you don't change the story without taking a risk, this comes with supporting it with the necessary steps to change the story."
The girl firstly, tried to understand how the lecturer operates by checking his previous examination questions, she found out that he doesn't ask question from one particular niche so she started by studying all his previous examination questions, downloaded E-books, sourced for materials from the senior colleagues. She literally studied all these materials page to page to understand and make sure she is acquainted in all area of the said course.
The said day for the exam came, she knew in her mind that she prepared well and sat to write the exam, the exam question was shared and exam started she did justice to all because the questions were familiar to her, and submitted but when the result came out she didn't get a distinction (A).
Here, as a risktaker sometimes things doesn't work out as planned but the end point is don't stop trying, persevere to change the story with diligence and consistency.
Did her story change?
Yes, she took a step and asked for a re-mark of her script, which was granted to her and finally she was given a distinction.The lecturer vows was broken with determination and hardwork.
Conclusively, no poor person has ever before rich without taken a risk, no dull student has ever become a bright student without a risk, no body story has ever changed without a risk.
