How are you all doing? I'm sure the weather over there is not friendly to some people while some are actually enjoying the weather because is chilly out there. Well I can neither say I'm enjoying the weather or not because it comes in both ways.
Before the raining season, the weather was very hot here and aside being hot, we struggle to get water to cook and bath. Anything that has to do with water, you need to use your own money to buy it and at some point I started wishing for it to rain. Before now, the community hardly see rain base on some stories I heard about the community but things has started changing and I think it's changing for good, though the only problem here is that they don't have underground water.
It's been hell living with them here especially during dry season. Now we're in the raining season and it practically rains everyday which is actually good because the reservoir is filled up with water. When it started raining, I was very happy because the weather won't be hot anymore and I don't need to get a book just to fan myself.
How the weather has affected me
Yes I will say the weather has affected me in so many ways. I'm this kind of person that hardly falls sick but since it started raining, my body temperature has changed I could no longer wear those open clothes, all I do is just to look for cardigan to wear and aside this, the cold weather made me fall sick few days ago and I have been on medication unlike me that doesn't like drugs, I had no other choice than to take them so I could get better.
During this rainy season, I hardly wash clothes anyhow because most of my clothes I washed few days ago are still not dried. Once I hang them outside, it will start raining and immediately I will have to take them inside. It practically rains everyday, every minute, every seconds and no one single sun to dry my clothes.
Also this rain has changed my schedule, when I plan to go out, the rain will either spoil my plans or ruin it. I can't boldly say that I will go to the grocery store the next two hours because it might be raining by then and I don't have my private car to take me there.
Aside spoiling my plans, I don't think your area is as flooded as mine because even if it should stop raining, it will take few days for the flood to dry up. I actually pitied the family that lost their love ones to flood the other day it rained heavily. The flood killed three persons but only one survive, this is how bad the situation could be when it rains heavily in my area. No one has the boldness to live the house because you might be carried away by the flood. The flood spoil people's properties too
The most annoying part here is that once it starts raining, they will immediately cease the light. What I'm trying to say now is that I don't have power supply in my area for the past four days, I'm hoping for sun to shine even if it's only today so I can dry my clothes and probably they might bring light...
