This time we will review the treatment of the inhabitants of the conquered lands and the non-Muslim nations of the Muslim lands. Because it has a very close relationship with equality, justice and freedom of conscience. This equality and justice introduced by Islam has been linked to the whole of humanity beyond the scope of individuals, groups and Islam.
When it comes to discussing conquered countries, the context of the real purpose, goal and cause of Islam in conquering the country naturally comes up. It is a matter of long discussion. We will discuss this only to the extent that it is essential and relevant to the universal social justice of Islam.
The Islamic call appeals to the human conscience and mind. There is no room for force and compulsion. Even in the previous religions, Islam did not allow the use of psychological force in the form of miracles. Islam is the only provision which has shown full respect for the conscience, intellect and consciousness of the people, instead of hypnotizing them through miracles or miracles and tempting them in a psychological way, they have stopped addressing them in simple language. He never resorted to force by the power of the sword.
But the Quraysh, from the very first day, have obstructed this new way of life by material force. Allah has inflicted inhuman torture on those whom He has given the opportunity to convert to Islam. They have expelled some Muslims from their homes, wives and children. They conspired to starve them to death by keeping them in mountain caves and socially boycotting them. All in all, they did not rule out the use of material force to keep people away from Islam.
As I said before, Islam has given you an international ideology and universal way of life. He cannot confine himself to any particular stimulus. He wants to spread his welfare to every corner of the globe and to the entire human race. But the two great empires of Rome and Persia stood in the way. They sit in ambush to destroy him. This force was not ready to give the flag bearers of the Islamic movement a chance to travel around the world and convey the message of Islam to the people.
In this situation, Islam had no choice but to remove the state power that stood in the way of divine law and the common man.
After removing this barrier, he gives man the opportunity to obey God alone and to be free from human obedience and slavery. This means that the Islamic system has been established in place of the abolitionist system. In this way people get free speech. After the removal of the barriers of state power and the victory of the law of God, obedience is reserved for God alone and man is liberated from the bondage of man. Then whoever wills will accept Islam willingly and with full rights, whoever wills will not accept it. Because every person has the full right to determine his own policy. This is the meaning of the following declaration of the Qur'an that religion or obedience is for Allah alone.
