"Visiting The Corn Farm Place Here In Zone 23, Poblacion Manticao, Misamis Oriental"

Greetings everyone. There are lots of fascinating places can be seen here in the Province, and most of it are involve with the Nature and Farm places. For this travel blog of mine, I would like to share the place I went this morning, and this is the Corn Farm place located in Zone 23, Poblacion Manticao, Misamis Oriental. This is only a simple article blog of mine, to promote the workmanship of all Farmers here in our Province. I always seen this place when I went home because it is near at the Barangay Road. For me, this place is very perfect by planting different kinds of crops, vegetables and other valuable plants such like Corn.

This is near at the Barangay and Provincial road. Near at this farm is the electric substations that connects and support electricity to all Misamisnons. There are only 50 households lives in this place and it is also located near at the Corn Farm. This farm is surrounded with Manggoe trees, Coconut trees and other fruit trees, that is also one of the primary source of income to all residents here.

For the past many years, this was a rice paddy until it completely turns into a corn field. This young corns grows very healthy without using any fertilizers because of the synthetic materials used backed when this place was a rice field. This portion of the place is still young corns growing and this is already stable by its grow. First, they plowed the land using a native plow pulled with a carabao. They removed the wild grass and other harmful things in the place. Plowing the land can help the soil pulverized and can easily planted those corn grains in the soil.

This corn field was divided into two parts, the other portion of the place was already planted first by corn and it already grows taller and healthier. This corn plants will produce corns within the next days without using any chemical fertilizers. Aside of the corn plants, they also decided to plant more squash plants and the methods they applied is what we called, inter-cropping. This is a kind of activities were the first plant was also inserted another plants in one place, and it grows very healthy as well.

The squash plants was properly placed and planted in this vast corn plants, I really amazed of the place because of the agricultural activities and it looks pretty progressive and a kind of good business as well. The reason why this place was completely turned into a corn field because of the water supply problem because of the intense heat. Instead of rice planting that needs a lot of water, the land owner decided to plant corn instead.

Aside of corn and vegetable plants located here in the Farm, there is also a chicken farm but it is not really big. On each side of the farm contains Rambutan trees. I am really happy and proud to be here in the place, and to see the Farmers outputs and their hard works. I really amazed and salute all of them for thier hard works and dedications to plant this kind of crops for their family. Corns are also good for business and it is also highly in-demand here in our Town.

Farmers are very important to our societies, because of them we can have different kinds of foods in our dining tables and we can also eat delicious foods. Zone 23 Corn field is now listed in Municipality Agricultural Organization and all Farmers who owned valuable plants just like coconuts, Bananas and Rice plants.
