The Road going in this place are well concreted and it will be very easy to traveled here. If we take a walking adventure, it takes almost an hour of walking adventure before we arrived at the Birds nest Sanctuary. Birds Nest Sanctuary also holds different kinds of occasions just like Birthday's, Meetings, Anniversaries and many kinds of Special occasions.
One of the best views can be seen inside of this place is the Simi-Forest park. Well, this only called Simi- Forest park because the only a small space of the areas occupied by different kinds of Native trees. This simple structure holds some informations and details of whats inside the place but during my Travel Visit, some of the place are temporarily closed. Here we can see the Following relaxing views;
- Man-Made forest:
Man-Made forest because they are only take an activities of planting different kinds of Native hardwood trees. Each trees contains this Name tag with a short description regarding with the trees. Actually, this was my first time to see this unpopular trees and it is very attractive. Approximately there are 20 kinds of Native hardwood trees and some of it are the following; - Mahogany
- Molave
- Narra
- Kaloot
- Bagtangali
- Salangkugi and
- Makao
This are some of the trees can be seen here in Man-made forest areas inside at Birds nest sanctuary.
Arboretum means a place were collections of trees can be seen and found. They also planted young native trees to be transported and replanted to the mountains. This simple and unique arch made of lumbers coated with varnish an inscription on it. The post were this lumber attached is solid Native Molave lumbers.
There are also some decorations found inside the place just like this old round shape lumber, coated with varnish and hanged on those arch just like a "Gong" Drum. Below on this big round shape lumber is a painted Native plow. This kind of thing is the most useful and very important to all farmers in plowing the agricultural land. Birds Nest Sanctuary holds more interesting views just like old things used for farming. Tents are installed so that the visitors can feel be more relaxing resting under the tents while watching the surroundings.
This is the Entrance of the Sanctuary and it holds up to 20 vehicles inside of the place. It is decorated and planted lots of ornamental plants and bermuda grass on the ground. The Parking lot is divided into two parts and the Second part of the parking lot are the tents were placed. There is a pine tree grows at the middle of the parking lots and some colorful flaglettes hanging to make the areas will attractive.
Birds nest also produced honeys in facg this structures made of light materials like Lumbers, plywoods and nipa as rooftop design for bee shelter. There are lots of bees inside of each box. Each box contains small wholes so that the bees can go inside of the box. Every last day of the Month, they harvested the honeys and sell to the Market. This bee farm gives the place an attractive one.
Replica of Native People's houses:
This are the replica of houses of Native people here in Manticao. The owner of this place decided to built this unique houses, so everyone can seen what those ancient houses looks like. It is made of light materials just like bamboos and nipa as rooftops. This place is very worth it if we take a visit this place, we can see different kinds of wonderful and relaxing views and can gain some lofty informations particularly on trees.
