Exploring The World of Philippines Mushrooms

Greetings everyone, Mushrooms grows in different kinds of place either hot or cold places. Most of this kind of plants are grows in Mountains, Bushes, Near at the River or even Forest areas. For today's blog and article of mine, I will share some of the Mushroom plants found here in Mindanao, Particularly here in the Province of Misamis Oriental. Most of the Mushrooms here are very small and tiny but very fascinating to see because of its styles, colors and shapes. Here in the Province of Misamis Oriental, Mushrooms and other kinds of Fungi plants can be seen in forestry place and others hid under the rotten log or branches of the trees.

What Brings The Mushroom's Uniqueness and attractive?

We can classified and seen its uniqueness by seeing its;

• Colors
• Shapes
• Forms
• Surroundings

This Fascinating Mushroom contains a white color on its leave, aside of that a long soft stem of the mushroom. Most of this kind found in rotten coconut trees. The leave of this Mushroom is very soft and it can easily broke even blowing on it. At the top of the leave contains a dust particles and it can be very dangerous to eyes. Must of the residents here called it, Hut mushroom because of the shape just like a Hut.

In some places, People likes to eat this kind of mushrooms and according to them this is perfect for mushroom stews. In local term we called it, Polot. This is also a kind of mushroom that contains a waivy and rough surfaces of its leaves. Most of this grows in a rotten Antipolo trees and it multiplies very fast depends on how cold the environment or surroundings be. It contains brownish colors and it is really hard to pulled out in the rotten log were it grows.

Mushroom also have life span, meaning not all of of it stay lives for more than a month. The example of this is this rotten mushroom were those leaves contains holes a some dust particles. It slowly covers the entire surface of the leaves. This is what we called an Elephant mushroom and it only lives a few days. There are lots of colors and sizes of its leaves and contain a rough surfaces of each leaves.

Most of this kind grows in a rotten coconut fruits. The leaves are very soft and easy to broke. This is what we called a dwarf mushroom and it is very common here in the Province. Under of the leaves is this thin lines and a soft stem, it grows and depends on the rotten things just like coconut fruit. This can't be survived in an intense heat and lives for a shorter time.

This plant is very fascinating and attractive because of its design of the leaves and also its colors. The tip of the mushroom contains a white wavy tip with brownish color at the middle surfaces. It grows on a rotten or dry leaves and it lives for a few weeks. There are no stems on this mushroom and only leaves can be seen. What makes more fascinating about it is at the middle of the big leaves are Small mushroom leaves grows.

It is just like a hut mushroom plant but the difference is the black spots at the top of its leaves. It contains a long soft stems and usually grows in Stones or rotten coconut husks. It releases a dust particles and aside of that a sticky liquid of its stems.

If we seen for the first time, all comes to our mind is just like an ash, well this is really an Ash mushroom and it grows in burned woods. Unlike the other mushrooms, it only grows and contains a long black lines instead of leaves. It also contains a dust particles. There are still lots of mushrooms that can't yet discovered and seen by many here in our Place and it truly gives an important rule to the Nature.
