Farm Exploration and Farm Checking Activities

Greetings everyone, Our place are still experiencing an intense heat brought by the summer. It is perfect for a walk outside of the house and watching some beautiful and fascinating place here at the Farm. This morning, at exactly 10 A.M, I felt very heat inside of our house that is why I decided to have walking activities here in the place. To avoid myself of getting bored, I explored our farm and checking our Fish pond, fruit trees like Manggo trees, Jack fruit trees and Pig pen. I also visited the place were there is an abandoned house built and to look for any fruits in there.

As the heat still happening in our place, it will expected that the water level at the river and in the Pond will also decreasing. This is not good for our fish pond and it needs to get an action regarding with this basic problem. First, we checked the water level at the pond to see if it is ready to put more water inside of this concreted pond and as I checked, it is time to filled more water.

With the used of this long water hose, we attached it to the deep well we built at the river and also the most important things, the submersible cables. After that, we filled those two fish pond and we did a right estimation methods that around 3 PM, those two ponds will completely filled with water. Almost 4 long hose connected together so that it can reach the well.

While waiting for filling up the pond, I also cleaned this place were the pig pen build. It is good to keep the place clean so that there will be no harmful animals like snakes will went in this place. It is lucky because we built the pig pen under in this big bamboo plants and it keeps the place always cool. We gave the pigs with water so that they will not be dehydrated due to intense heat.

The water level keeps lowing because of the heat, there are only small parts of the place contains flowing water and it will keep drying if the hot weather continues. The best thing we did is to make a deep well near at the river so that we can keep fetching more water use for cooling food, boiling water and house chores.

Here in our Farm, fruits just like manggo needs fo wrapped with paper, this will keep and prevent damaging because of the harmful insects like wasps. We carefully wrapped those fruits with this paper and stippled the bottom part of the paper. This will also protect and keep the fruits of being damage because of the intense heat. I am happy that our manggo tree produced more fruits.

Other fruit trees like this Jack fruit needs to covered up with empty sack and that's what I did this morning. It will be unwrapped once it is ready to harvest and the fruits is also ripe. It is good thing that this fruits grows in the place were I can easily reach up my hands.

Need some warm up exercises? We also build this simple Basketball playground. We nailed the ring at the coconut tree and we careful nailed it so it wont fall. This is a kind of simple basketball playground and only consist of one basketball ring. But there are lots of children playing basketball in here.

This is an abandoned house were our tenants lives many years already. But as He left and went to Cebu City, this house was totally abandoned. We did not destroy the house and we let it standing there until it will destroyed. There are lots of fruit trees can be found in the place but it was not producing any fruits.

A simple tasks and activities in life here in the Province but it gives me a wonderful and enjoyable time doing it. Thank you for visiting and reading my post, have a nice day everyone.
