The idea of an Islamic state.

What were their views on the state? What were their views on their status and duties as heads of state? What principles did they follow in their own state? They themselves have openly stated these issues in the context of giving speeches from the platform of Khilafah. The speech given by Hazrat Abu Bakr Radiyallahu Ta'ala Anhu after the public pledge and oath in the Nawabi Mosque.

In it he said that I have been appointed your ruler. But I am not the best person among you. I swear by the entity in whose hands my life is entrusted, I did not take this position on my own. I did not try to get this position myself instead of others, so I never prayed to Allah.

That is why greed never arose in my heart. I have reluctantly accepted this responsibility, fearing that it will provoke dissent among Muslims and sedition among Arabs. I have no peace in this position. Rather, it is a huge burden that has been placed on me. I do not have the ability to carry this burden. Of course, if God helps me. I wanted someone else to take over.

Still, if you wish, you can choose one of the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for this job. My pledge will not hinder you in this matter. If you test me by the standards of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), then I do not have the power to do so. Because he was safe from Satan, revelation would come down on him. I will cooperate if I do the right thing.

If you do wrong, straighten me out. Honesty is a deposit. And lying is a betrayal. Your weak person is strong to me. God willing, until I give him his rights. And the strong among you are weak to me, until I, by the will of Allah, take the right from him. No nation has ever been insulted by Allah even after giving up its pursuit in the way of Allah.

After the spread of obscenity in any nation, Allah does not put them in a general danger - it does not happen. Obey me as long as I am loyal to Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). If I disobey Allah and His Messenger, you have no obedience to me. I am a follower, not the inventor of any new path.

Hazrat Omar (may Allah be pleased with him) said in his speech that people should obey someone in disobedience to Allah - no one can claim such a right about himself. People, I am telling you about your rights over me. You can arrest me for these rights.

Your right over me is that the spoils of war are obtained without war or bloodshed. I will not accept anything illegal from. And your right over me is that I will not spend any part of the money that comes to me unjustly.
