The school curriculum in Nigeria has prescribed 6 3 3 4 education system, that is , six years in the primary school, three in the junior secondary , three in the senior secondary and four in the university. The herders-farmers clashes has been going on for over ten years, so what has been the faith of the displaced peoples children;
The camps are not wholly spared from the sporadic attacks from the herders, but who would then trust the safety of their children in the makeshift teaching centers in the internally displaced peoples( IDP ) camps. Will the children themselves concentrate. It’s a cause for concern.
Civilized governments and people could have arranged for online teaching, the cost is really enormous and feeding and provision of health care becomes priorities.
Not withstanding ,well spirited individuals can help, through donations, through well organized and trustworthy organizations.
If our focus is not atoned to these generation’s acquisition of knowledge, we’re looking at a wasted generation- a lost generation- a lost hope.
I will not stop bringing it the public domain, he who knows it feels it, my modest effort…
That's really nice of you. You are an example of what we need in our world today ✊✊🙏.
It saddens my heart anytime I see pictures of people who are internally displaced in Nigeria especially children... Thank you for all the good work and sacrifices you make to better the lives of these people... God bless you
I wish every child would have the same opportunity of a better education and good foods. Seeing the pictures of the is children that are suffering this way without any help saddens my heart. I pray help comes to them soon
Speaking about the educational system in my country, it would really take a long term to yield off inaccuracy.
