A happy weekend to you all and welcome to this weekend's edition😊😊.
This weekend let's talk about noise pollution. What do you think about it. Well, for some days now I haven't been able to sleep very well due to generator noise in my area. It's really becoming something else these days. In Nigeria, noise pollution is a normal thing, people don't really care to see the bad side of it. In some parts of my country, noise is used to know developed areas. Can you imagine?.
Some motorists have become so addicted to honking their horns unnecessarily. They honk to say hello or greet their fellow drivers, they honk to call on someone; they honk to urge traffic staff to let them through. some of theses heavy trucks are the worst, they honk in a way you will think the truck has no brakes.
Well I think noise pollution can be controlled easily. Whatever source that creates the noise, it wasn't originally meant to cause harm or discomfort but was invented to make life easier like household appliances, machines, generators and others, are all designed to facilitate human activities, but nowadays they have become sources of inconvenience due to misuse or abuse.

Noise pollution is not good for our health, it has a side effect on our wellbeing if we are addicted to it so we need to avoid everything that can cause noise pollution in our environment.
2. Can noise pollution have an effect in our lives?
Yes of cause, it has negative effect in our lives if we are addicted to it, it can damage our eardrum making it difficult for us to hear very well.
3. What is the level of noise pollution in your country?
The level of noise pollution in my country is very high, noise pollution is everywhere, in school, at home, on the road which is caused mostly by the motorists by honking so loudly to greet themselves.

It surprises me how noise is a normal thing in our country.

1.From your own point of view, what are your thoughts on noise pollution?
Noise pollution is simply the natural increase in sounds that may leads to an adverse effect on humans and animals in the environment. Noise pollution in the environment is bad. It is the commonest type of pollution. It poses harm on the health of individuals living around. Although,it cannot be totally stopped or eradicated, there should be conscious effort by everyone to reduce or avoid noise pollution.
2.Can noise pollution have any effect on our lives?
Noise pollution is capable of harming our lives. It does have an adverse effect on our lives. Imagine a situation whereby you are working on something that requires maximum concentration like a project or surgery, When there is noise pollution around, It makes you loose focus or concentration thereby reducing productivity and may even lead to mistakes in the case of surgery which is capable of causing a great danger to life. It can even lead to death.
3.What is the level of noise pollution in your country?
As I said earlier, noise pollution is the most popular type of pollution. It is common around. The level of noise pollution here in my country is high. Everywhere is over crowded and there are manufacturing companies built right inside the cities and towns. The road is always congested with vehicles and tricycles and people play loud music around especially the road sides vendors. They advertise their goods with loud music playing from big speakers around. The noises from the activities of individuals, vehicles,road side vendors, manufacturing companies contributes to the high level of noise pollution.
