The normal conversations will still happen on Sundays at PUB but for Friday/Saturday we will have this Tech club going. I once again welcome you all to join and invite your friends here.

For the start, I will keep a few categories

Note: The content may increase and loading may be slow, so access the specific category by clicking the specific link to open directly.

1. Conversations

Here you can have normal conversations about what you doing and interact with other people.

2. Projects/Collabs

Here you can share about projects you currently working with, any collaborations you looking for, or any interesting project the club members should know.

3. Tech news/Info/Links

Here you can share any tech news, updates from blurt or around the world you explore. It can be about a blockchain, a website/app, or any gadget. But don't try to spam with links. Just add what you find organically.

4. Learners point

As you all may be techies, but some people on blurt are not. So, try to share blogs you read, any books which the other people can do read. Let's create digital literacy and extend programming literacy. A person may not be able to code, but he can be able to read the code.

5. Fortnight Witness FAQ

In this category you can add questions you need to ask the witnesses and after 14 days the witnesses may answer the questions every 14 days. This will help the community timely know their witnesses.

Updates this week

We just launched our new handle @techclub to promote curation from #techclub and post updates about Dapps on blurt, initially the alternative frontends. ALso, to get support in the form of beneficiaries and delegations.

Curation from this account

We don't have much power to do curation yet, but @tekraze will be doing the curation as well votes on this post with a random percentage between 20-40%

We have also team members, We would like to announce

  1. @tekraze
  2. @artilferahul
  3. @big-o-of-erg
  4. @bestkizito
  5. @samhenrytenplus

For now, I will be adding all of these as 10% beneficiaries so they can be supported for the curation they do. But we will start curation by next week or when we have the appropriate power to vote.

Delegations

There are many curation projects currently and you may wonder, why this?
So, this is to support tech mainly and devs along with some related content to technology and gaming.

If we ask for delegation we will look like another scam. But, without delegation support, we may not be able to do the curation.
So, we will ask you to think wisely and support us with the delegations.

We currently would not be able to support you back for your delegations, so up to April, we may not send back delegator tips. But once we have everything set up, we will start sending back a portion of liquid blurt as tips for supporting us. And that is a dev promise by @tekraze (as he will be working on automating all of this).

Wheel Of Fortune (Votes from @tekraze)

As I don't have that much power to vote on all comments here, I will be voting only 10% to some and not all.

To 5 people I will vote 100% on their comments.
To 3 people I will vote 75% on their comments.
To 5 people I will vote 40% on their comment.

Criteria to get votes is to post something relevant in the categories below except the conversation category.

Quiz

There were some suggestions for the Quiz, but I still need to think of a way to have a quiz. Until then use the wheel of fortune as a quiz to win my votes. Lol.

Topic of the Week

With the emergence of new cosmos chains and airdrops, there have been a lot of testnets coming up and more people joining. But some of the people don't know of that, so let's discuss things to let more people know about

  • What is a validator
  • What is VPS
  • What is a service file
  • What is RPC node
  • What is the genesis

Note: We will be writing a detailed guide soon from this handle.

I was working with integrating Keycloak with an Ionic application, https://github.com/damienbod/angular-auth-oidc-client

All was working fine, but after being authenticated with keycloak i have to register that user back to the backend, so what i did i added a page callback and call checkAuth there to register user to backend and also there was a previous call to the same funcion in main app component, and whenever i was trying to test the flow i was getting 400 Bad Request, code is not valid, from keycloak.

Reaching to Google is the only way i could think of, but there was no solution which was solving the problem, i am putting some of the solution i found on Google

  • Time of server is not matching with Keycloak server (which was not in my case, since both are running on same machine)
  • cache isn't being updated (but i was not using any cache in between)
  • Client roles aren't assigned (Yes it was not assigned but after assigning them still no luck)
  • scope which i was trying to access isn't allowed for the endpoint i was trying to access (but i didn't mentioned any scope explicitly, so it might be getting correct scope from keycloak entity)

When i was looking at keycloak server log i could only find is the code is being used by so and so client already. But i was thinking i am running only one client where this is coming from it didn't struck to my mind about that app_component is also calling same function.

https://stackoverflow.com/a/67446927 but when i was reading this comment, then it strike to my mind removing that from callback and only keeping in app component and use isAuthenticated function in call back will do the stuff for me.
And Voila!😌 it works

Learning

  • Knowing your tool is necessary, to correctly operate it.
  • Its not always third party component which is having issue, its your coding pattern also
  • checkAuth should be used only once in whole application https://github.com/damienbod/angular-auth-oidc-client with respect to this package if you need token in some other module or guard you can call this.oidcSecurityService.getAccessToken()
