Introducing The Tech Club and the Projects by @tekraze and team

Some of you may already know, the @techclub initiative and hashtag #techclub. It was initiated by witness @tekraze with some of the programs.

Future Programs

1. Weekly club

We will continue our club but not on @tekraze handle anymore. All future clubs will happen on the official @techclub handle
We will change the categories and contests, but as promised you will still be getting votes from @tekraze handle as mentioned.

2. Fortnight Witness FAQ

One issue as a witness, and also as a blogger discussing with others I faced is miscommunication, including people's expectations from witnesses.

According to them

If they vote a witness means, they have to vote their every post. But this is not true.

There are many other misconceptions.

So, to clear out things, @techclub is planning a fortnight faq post, where every 14 days, we will post the questions from people, and witnesses will answer them.

So, how it will work.

Starting today, people can ask questions they have from witnesses here in the comments. I will add a link where all questions can be asked.
After 14 days, we will collect all the questions and post them here in @techclub.

Rules (May add more)

1. You can ask a specific witness or all witnesses a question
2. You can not ask for voting support from any witnesses
3. Only questions related to blurt and development from witnesses, not any off-topic
4. No promotions
5. No Abuse to any witness or hate speech (as they are more than just machines and may get hurt)

We will be updating posts in the future here.

3. #techclub curation

As we said previously, we would monitor all posts tagged with #techclub but @tekraze got busy with dev updates. So, we will be hiring more people to keep an eye on posts tagged with #techclub. For now, we are adding two new members to the team

@big-o-of-erg Hardcore dev and techie

They may not respond faster, but I will assure you they do. They will also be expecting support from you all as they are new to this.
For now, they will curate from their own handle, but once we have more power, we will use @techclub

New people are welcome to join the team but, we will have some restrictions on who can join.

4. Support as 5% Beneficiary for Frontend

As you all know, we have now 3 more frontends other than the official front.

All frontends are managed by @tekraze only including code development and deployment.

So, for getting support to the Tekraze frontend, there was an ask for the beneficiary fees that includes adding 5% as beneficiary while posting to do support.

Add @tekraze or @techclub as 5% beneficiary if you want to support Tekraze Frontend

You can support with 3% to 10% as the beneficiary amount

5. Delegations

If you notice, this account is still new and does not have much power to do any votes. So, we will be accepting delegations from people who want to support us.

We are still new to the curation so, we will be looking for guidance from @r2cornell @blurtlatam @blurthispano @blurtconnect-ng and other curation teams.

We in any way do not want to compete with any of the curation services, but just want to contribute more with better content curation in tech.

Once, we do have more posts curation, we will also be posting a list of top posts from curation on @techclub account.

We will be working on setting up rewards sharing, to support back the people delegating to us.

But, this will take time, so initially, we may not be able to give back rewards, but we will streamline the process soon. Also, we need your support to share our initiatives across the blurt community.
