Contentment

I know we might have come across this word "contentment" as it is not a new English,well I decided to write something about it to encourage my fellow teenagers and uplift their spirit.contentment is a quality that if we imbibe,it will go along way in guiding us.

In our today's modern world full of materialism, contentment is a state of mind that is often difficult to acquire. It is a feeling of satisfaction or fulfillment with what one has . Being satisfied with what one has can be a major Challenge as we find in ourselves in a World that promotes selfishness and strive to own more than we can contain.But in other live a happy life,we must learn to embrace that art of contentment.

So far in my life as a young and growing teenager,I have learned that in as much as we strive to achieve and acquire high social status,we should form the habit of being grateful of the little ones we have acquired and finding joy in the simplest moment life gives us. It demands from us to shift our view of point, consciouly focusing on what truly matters and not paying much attention to irrelevant things.

Finding contentment is not an easy task but a lot of moral qualities can go a long way in helping us achieve this of which one of them is Gratitude.
Gratitude is like a rock or can I say a solid foundation upon which contentment is being laid.its like a fertile soil which if contentment is planted,it flourishes. It makes us appreciate what we have and also what we have been able to make out of life. Striving for more most times makes us unsatisfied with what we have which make us unhappy,but if we can take a step backward and be grateful for what we have achieved,we will deriive this particular joy that can not be found any where.
