6-Dec-2022 - @sagarkothari88's Blurt Mobile App Dev Update
Apple has rejected the app again.
- Yes. You are reading it right.
- Apple has rejected the app for AppStore listing.
- Here are the allegations made by Apple
Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness
- App has "lorem ipsum" text
- App metadata has "coming soon"
- Provide an engaging app description
Guideline 3.1.1 - Business - Payments - In-App Purchase
- Integrate Sign up
- Sign up must be done with In-App-Purchase
Guideline 3.1.5 - Business - Payments - Cryptocurrencies
- Your wallet app facilitates the transmission of a virtual currency
but was submitted by an Apple Developer Program account registered to an individual, - This is not appropriate for the App Store.
Guideline 3.2.2 - Business - Other Business Model Issues - Unacceptable
- The primary purpose of your app is to encourage users to watch ads or perform marketing-oriented tasks
- This is not appropriate for the App Store.
Apple is not approving Beta Releases
- Yes. Apple has blocked TestFlight Beta releases too.
- iOS users can no longer download latest version of Blurt :(
What do we do?
- We've 2 options
- Keep trying to get the app listed on AppStore.
- Users of Blurt start using alternate method called
AltStore
- I am already providing updates on AltStore.
What's next?
- Keep trying to get app approved

Have a good one
Apple, the worst enemy of developers. To make them validate an app is like a miracle because they do everything to frustrate the developers. Don't give up ;)
Sure thing @nalexadre
I'll keep trying. I have couple of things in my mind with which we possibly can get an approval. I hope for the best.
Apple is particular @sagarkothari88, it has always been appreciated
It takes nothing away from your amazing work on behalf of @Blurt.
Apple is Indeed particular. I will have to rework many things.
Possible solutions to all problems pointed by Apple

Good afternoon. You work a lot as a developer and publish on the Blurt blockchain, which makes your achievements transparent and informative. I always read your updates and I love your content. You are doing useful work that will soon give excellent results. I want to wish you success and all the best. Apple will soon have to give in to your efforts and everything will be fine. The main step forward. Thank you very much again.
That is the spirit keep trying
Thank you @olusolaemmanuel. I'll try to figure out a way to have the blurt app listed.
The way Apple is disapproving apps for listing is enough to discourage one from building more apps. Lets be optimistic and i definitely believe your app will be listed. But i see no reason why they have to reject it without proper examination. Lets pray and hope it turns out well as desired @sagarkothari88
