How did you come across blurt? - Take part in the survey and get strong upvotes

in blurt •  5 months ago

I want as many users as possible to respond in comments, how did they find blurt blockchain in the network.

Answer in comment using a number. Although additional exuberance is not prohibited. On the contrary :)

However, please do not leave comments other than those with an answer!

  1. I came across a blurt while searching for something in the Google/Bing search engine or another (if you remember, it would be nice to add which one)
  2. it was recommended to me by a friend
  3. I came across links on social media (which ones?)
  4. via the exchange - I found a token for probit/HE etc and became interested in the project (which one?)
  5. via Coin Gecko / Coinmarket Cap etc
  6. I escaped from hive/steem downvotes
  7. i learned about blurt on hive or steem
  8. from discord channel
  9. other way (how?)

Anyone who responds in the comment will receive a Vote from my account and from @mariuszkarowski account

I am asking everyone to share this post wherever possible.

If there are people who will help with this survey, e.g. by writing a short post in another language with a link to the survey and its explanation, that would be great! :)

I want the survey to also reach people from e.g. the Mexican/Brazilian community (@team-mexico) @angelica7), Indian (@sabus @asad182 ), German (@maxinpower @ozelot47 @kryptodenno) or other languages that unfortunately I don't speak ;)

(I chose people randomly from tags, so or those I recognize, so it turned out that you are messengers now :D )

Additional posts promoting the survey in diferent language, if they use the nicknames @khrom and @mariuszkarowski in the content, will also receive upvotes from those two account.

I encourage you to answer and it's time to start :D

First I was on Hive until somebody recommended it to me, they helped me get my account set up and it was a bit exciting because of the less hate and ✨no downvotes✨ on Blurt.

So yeah, that was kinda a short preview of how I got here. :)

Thank you very much for inviting me. I was not able to work here because I did not get the right advice even after making an account a long time ago, and I was too busy with some of my own studies. Inshallah, I have started working again from now on. I will continue to work like this and I intend to go far if I get your love and support.

I was frustrated to see that all my hard earned money was getting snatched away by downvotes on Hive, and even the best posts of mine not getting upvotes on Steemit. Eventually, I asked one of the downvoters straightly as to why he was engaged in such evil acts as downvoting. He gave some reasons, and as we kept messaging each other, he asked me if was looking for a way by which even if someone downvoted me, my earnings would not get deducted. I eagerly said yes. It was at this point he told me about Blurt Blog and also guided me how to get a Blurt account for free through Discord server. So in this way, ironically the one whom I had perceived as evil minded actually became a good guide! 🙂

And this is indeed a surprising story. I would not have expected that. Maybe the hivers would rather just redirect people who disagree with their politics to us quickly so that they don't cause them more trouble? interesting.

but by the way which answer is the most because I will try to make a summary of this later and it is hard for me to bite the subject when I have 3 answers? ;)

4.- After having gone through Steem and Hive I saw that they were two tokens that suffered greatly from the variations of cryptocurrencies. And they still do today. It is enough to see their maximum values and their current values to see that they are within a very speculative mini-market.

There are users who have transferred huge sums of money >(for example acydio) emptying their wallets - this user had almost 20 million USD to have today just over 20,000 USD to transfer them to other more remunerative projects or simply to speculate.

This has led to Hive being today within the lowest values of its history being on par with Steem when it was always 20-30% up.

That is to say, I found in Blurt a more stable and supportive market, where one participates to share in the first place and not essentially to win.

Greetings

Blurt was recommended to me by a user here.

6.- One of the things that has annoyed me the most about Hive is the formation of communities with different rules each one and that compete with each other to give negative votes.

Hivewatchers who are paid and who collect a part of the rewards just for giving negative votes.

An example? Having two different accounts each dedicated to a different topic. And like this example, many others.

4,5, I saw it in hive market and international market. and I saw Coin Gecko / Coinmarket Cap. Then I get more detailed information about Blurt. it is a social media like hive. Working here is financially beneficial. So I created an account here and joined the blurt community. And I have also asked some of my friends to create accounts here.

#2. I was introduced by a friend. Prior to now, like most people here, I was on hive blog. On hearing about blurt, I decided to be a part of it. Mostly for same reasons why people left hive and joined blurt, and also for the freedom of being able to post contents in a community everyday. You hardly see such community on hive that permits that.

7 - I saw somebody post something about Blurt on Hive. That got me curious and looked for Blurt. It seems similar to Hive and the Blurt token is tradeable on hive-engine.

1.- I actually think that like most of us who are in BLURT now and before we had left Steem first and then Hive, the reasons are not just one but several and recurring.

Niches that are too personalized (Venezuelan communities are terrible in that sense), too many negative votes, users hunting for downvotes to increase their income, exaggerated rules, etc.

In my case, for example, in Hive there are two communities dedicated to cooking and recipes and it is impossible to get out of there. They always vote for the same users and excellent posts have almost no value.

BLURT is a calmer and more supportive community where you can participate without too many personalities.

Have a good week.

6.- I regret having discovered this post just now. I was almost a month without a PC because it had broken. Goodbye to my old and beloved Win7. I still can't get over Windows 10

I think the worst thing about platforms like HIVE are the Downvotes. Users who go on a witch hunt and are paid for it with the sole objective of harming and favoring an increasingly smaller minority.

7 , I learned about Blurt on Hive or Steemit. Originally, I thought it was for cursing content due to the logo (IIRC the logo was the swearing bleep emoji) I said well I have a potty mouth when I am gaming and raging, so maybe I should join lol.

I later realized what I was missing on here when Hive watchers accused me of having multiple accounts (when I didn't) and sent Adam to vote my recent posts to zero and ran. Blurt doesn't have that bs (so far)

i learned about blurt on hive or steem

Actually, like many other users, I came to Blurt after realizing that neither Steemit nor HIVE satisfied my concerns.

Steem because it had focused too much on the Asian market. And HIVE because they had created a kind of "niches" where certain users voted for each other, then through the communities, and excellent posts were condemned to oblivion. I even had a disagreement with a witness called acidyo and decided to leave.

I found in BLURT a simple, very humble content platform, where you don't earn much but you can see in harmony.

I've been here since January 2021, that is, more than three years ago.

Greetings

I learned about blurt on hive or steem

I was on Steem when Blurt forked. I logged in here at the start (2020), did a small power-down to get liquid blurt to start posting - and then I forgot about it.

Then two years later I came across world-travel-pro on Hive promoting Blurt. I was disgruntled with Hive because it was hard to get upvotes. So I bought 1800 Blurt at 36 satoshis (ouch!) on Ionomy, powered up and post here when I have something to say.

I came across links on social media Dtube And I Think Let's Explore Blurt Now I'm Here😊

It all started with No. 7:
From day 1, when Blurt was created, I was involved because I wanted to have a second mainstay alongside Hive. That went quite well for a long time, but then there was the famous spat between the operators and the German community.

And my semi-comeback is clearly tied to No. 6:
Since you are no longer safe from the downvote sect on Hive in the meantime, you should build up something on the side somewhere that you can switch from one day to the next at any time.

Yes, there is also a bit of nostalgia involved. It was a cool time back then with cool people.

My story to search this platform is very different and made account on this platform is a big challenge fir me. I Read many articles and instructions about this now i decided to made a account on this first i join Discord channel and join the community i asked many people to helpade account then one friend help me and i complete my account this is my first target and then write complete post about myself, Now my other task how i start working on this platform like community, curators and booming vote and support share your thoughts and experience with me. I am waiting your your response

@khrom @mariuszkarowski

#blurt #blurtnews

  ·  3 months ago  ·   (edited)

well, this is not really the place for such debates because it is a survey.

How to start? If you want to write a blog, you have to do what every blogger does, i.e. write something good and try to reach as many members of the community and curators as possible.

If you want to use blurt as social media, i.e. meet people, look for interesting posts, comment, talk.. then do it.

Basically, this is the fastest way to gain recognition - when you are active. Then when you write something, people recognize you and are more likely to look at your publications. there are a lot of bloggers who publish here but practically do not respond, which is why their blogs often disappear into the abyss of the blockchain.

You can also, for example, help promote blurt on Twitter/ fb etc or run a channel about blurt. Take care of welcoming new users.. in other words, do something for the platform. Blurt still needs a lot of development and support before it becomes popular. Since everyone here is a co-owner of the network and there are no owners here, only larger and smaller shareholders, anyone who does something good for the development of the platform can certainly count on recognition and, therefore, greater support.

Sorry I'm late, just saw the post...Sorry.....
I didn't want to join Blurt at all, didn't want to be on another blockchain (after Steemit and Hive)....
But then in @double-u 's pub people here on Blurt were collecting for our Uganda project.
I knew almost nobody in the German community at the time.
That was the reason why I came to the pub and thanked them for the donation.
I liked this community so much that I stayed and came to the pub almost every Sunday.
The rest is history...the pub and the German community too, unfortunately.....

I see that many of the German community have returned to Blurt.
Mostly as quiet Investors and witnesses.

I see that even @double-u is a Top 4 Witness :

I also chose him out of old ties.
Without him, his pub with the great community and all the quiz questions I've won, I wouldn't be at Blurt and certainly wouldn't be a whale....

Some are back, but the feeling is different for me.
We all used to invest, we had visions....
and the Blurt course was good back then.
Today.....

Yeah. Many mistakes were made but it looks like @ctime @khrom @mariuszkarowski and many others are working daily to bring back the Glory Days of Blurt … $1 and beyond.

I think if crypto generally went high enough again to make posting at least a little worth it like £20 a post more spirit would come back.

I don't mean that kind of spirit.....
It wasn't just the money, it was a great community.

I see some people from Blurt are earning $50 - $100 per post on Steemit… so that’s great. Also, if you delegate to @jsup @upvu @tipu @upex @justyy on Steemit you can do extremely well with passive income. Here on Blurt too… but only a few people know this and take action with High Blurt Power. The key is to have a few blogs earning $ 10 a day in passive income. On all 3 Platforms. Get up to $100 a day and you are earning $36,500 while you sleep

Hello every one!!
I came across blurt through my friend .
There account is @voterone.
I will do a post soon where I will share your survey link
Thankyou

  ·  4 months ago  ·   (edited)

From @offgridlife when I was just so over the shite on hive. I only actually got downvoted for sticking up for other people getting downvoted, so it was to escape the tyranny and not support such a bullying site. No way will I sit by and watch others get bullied for doing nothing and having their entire support removed by one or two losers, so I was glad to see another option on the blockchain. Steemit is alright now the main culprits leave it alone, never had a downvote there since they left but I’m aware it’s always a possibility it gets infiltrated down the line so this is the safest platform. I don’t want to be on a platform where one or two angry weirdos can take away an entire persons support with one click, I do not want to be a part of a system like that even if I am not being targeted. If I saw it happen on steemit I would also do the same but I haven’t .

  ·  4 months ago  ·   (edited)

Yeah, I’m still on Hive with a few very old Steemit blogs earning passive income with delegations to @ecency and @tipu. No posting required. Free Hive deposited to your wallet every day. It’s good to be earning lots of Hive every day to buy up all the cheap Blurt on Hive-Engine.

https://hive-engine.com/trade/SWAP.BLURT

IMG_9569.jpeg

I mean you don’t get free hive or steemit as passive income without having a decent amount of holdings. You wouldn’t have 1 dollar in there and make anything upvoting.

As we know I don’t morally agree with H so will not promote it by being part of the chain and helping keep it active would rather it just died off entirely and went to 0

That’s very true. You need quite a bit of Hive Power, Steem Power and Blurt power to earn from Delegations. But you also need Hive to buy Blurt on Hive-Engine.

I don’t like FIAT money either, but I use it to buy food and stuff.

I learned about Blurt.blog on Steemit.com or Hive.blog at the launch of Blurt in July 2020 …. 4th of July 2020 to be exact.

I can’t remember who on Steemit or Hive told me about Blurt but it was described as another Fork from Steemit but would not have downvotes like Hive.

I liked this idea since every now and then I would get everything downvoted on Hive … ???? …. Very weird. No reason. No explanation … just everything downvoted to zero … ???? especially when I hit over $50 on a post .

Lucky for me. The Hive downvoting started happening when Hive was around $ 3 …. so I sold all my Hive and bought Bitcoin. I just have a tiny little bit of Hive left.

The downvotes were a blessing in disguise.

Anyway … I’m very happy that I started blogging on Blurt and I still blog on Steemit too. Hopefully the price of Blurt and Steem will both go back up and some day reach $1 or $100 ? Dream Big !

I’m here for the long term so I power up 99% of my Blurt.

If you are interested then you can submit your youtube rss feed again, the application has been fixed. Now it publishes only new videos, if it does not find a new video it leaves a comment under the last video of user. just like here https://blurt.intinte.org/hot/blurt-153561

Ok…. I will add the RSS link back to my YouTube Channel later tonight …. I need to do that from a Computer.

Yes I remember I would always want it to be under 50 dollars as if it went over you knew it was getting targeted lol the whole system was toxic. I would defend others then get downvoted for defending them but would never ever not do that. But yeah it also made me sell out when hive was pretty close to the top so also prob was the best timing!

  ·  4 months ago  ·   (edited)

Yeah, Hive is really weird. It seems very much like there are 1 or 2 guys who control the whole thing. If you earn too much and don’t delegate to their Projects you will get everything downvoted to Zero. I don’t understand how it works at all. But really, they want you to only talk about Hive and no other crypto. Not even Bitcoin.

  ·  4 months ago  ·   (edited)

I saw them in the private chat group early on in 2017. I’ve said this a few times now. I was invited in by a guy called Klye or something with a blonde cartoon character pic. He was fine but the others in the group were not I lasted two days! They used to laugh and joke in that group about who to take to zero for fun in the newbie chat room. It was essentially OCD. It was ram by a woman called illuminaughty or something like this, she didn’t post much but ran the chat room. Not saying they are the very centre but I saw a lot of the shit stuff. Back then I stupidly thought I could just avoid them then later I realised how engrained in it they were. It’s seriously dark I’m so happy to be away from it should have done it way sooner.

  ·  4 months ago  ·   (edited)

Yeah. Hive is controlled by 2 guys…. acidyo and themarkymark …. Probably the same guy ? He tells everyone what to do. They run the whole show. Hive is completely Centralized. 100%

  ·  4 months ago  ·   (edited)

Acidyo was one of the ones in the group, marky mark actually was not there . But that group was essentially OCD they would pretend to be all nice in public then in that private group absolutely awful ppl just picking newbies at random and taking them down to zero for fun. Back in 2017 steemit would have had prob double the amount of ppl if they didn’t push so many off who went for genuine help in steemit chat and were simply terrorised off the site for no valid reason. Sometimes the reason was as small as their English was bad or they said one thing those guys didn’t agree with . They also would downvote ppl posting on steemit yet acidyo had some kind of farming system going on on steemit go track his wallet that whole time lol

I wish ppl would just collectively decide to leave and stop funding those awful ppl and make one of the other two sites better. So many ppl just keep their head down to earn money ppl have to rise above the parapet for change.

  ·  4 months ago  ·   (edited)

Unfortunately you need Hive to buy up all the Blurt on Hive-Engine and Probit. It’s a good idea to have a few thousand blogs earning Hive with @ecency and @tipu.

It will only take $16,088 to buy up all the Blurt on Hive-Engine.com….. this could drive to price of Blurt to $100,000

I discovered the Blurt platform thanks to a friend I met through the Nostr 100% Bitcoin protocol. I saw that he was posting on Blurt and asked him to help me create an account. His recommendations have been very helpful, as I had known about Steemit years ago but didn’t understand how it worked.

Currently, I use one account exclusively for publishing the collection of 175 sonnets by my father, Francisco Luis Arroyave Tabares. I also use this account to publish my own music and the musicalizations of my father's sonnets, generated with AI, as well as other topics not only related to music and poetry.

I can say that I feel a lot of freedom and confidence in Blurt, especially after having distanced myself from web 3.0 platforms.

Yes…lots of people have joined Blurt via Nostr and Twitter …

I’m very happy that you joined.

Also… You inspired this idea for a Blurt - Bitcoin Lightning ⚡️ exchange : https://blurt.blog/blurt/@offgridlife/2htpai-proposal-satoshi-to-blurt-lightning-swaps

Thank you for the great help you have given me on this journey. My father has found a great friend after 14 years of his departure to the universe. It only took a like from you on the first post on Nostr to see that Blurt existed.

Sorry for the Spam, all those mentioned are part of the Spanish speaking community. Perhaps by seeing the mention they can contribute to your survey.

"7. i learned about blurt on hive or steem"
I seem to remember that it was through a post from a friend on Hive that I found out that there was another project underway and I was interested in checking out what it was about.
Some time has passed since then.

I came to Blurt last year due to a recommendation from a couple of good friends @ariezeh and @mostrorobot, who I remember not only recommended the Blurt blockchain but also guided me to register and supported me with some blurt so I could publish and interact on the platform. Thank you very much for the survey.

#2. A friend on Hive pointed Me here.

6 and 7... I heard about it on Hive, and escaped the downvote cabal. I'm glad I posted on Blurt but sad I moved my crypto savings here.

Because a friend (doctor @ariezeh) explained some things about the Hive, Steem and Blurt blockchain in a post he made on Noise app (Website that works with BCH rewards)

My husband's brother (@ariezeh) taught me about Blurt and helped me purchase an account through https://joinblocks.org/blurt

I met Blurt when, disappointed with Hive, I went looking for videos on Youtube. There I found the youtuber "El Pausero" who was promoting Blurt. I love to write here in my spare time 🤗.

Conocí a Blurt cuando, decepcionada con Hive, empecé a buscar vídeos en Youtube. Allí encontré al youtuber "El Pausero" que promocionaba Blurt. Me encanta escribir aquí en mis ratos libres 🤗.
