Natural history museum

in trav •  2 years ago  (edited)

I really have not visited enough of the amazing free museums London has to offer. I have only been to the natural history once years ago and realise I should be going way more often: next on my list is the British museum which, is home to a lot of ancient Egyptian paraphernalia.

The natural history museum even before you enter is probably one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen, it is simply breathtaking. It is probably most famous for its collection of dinosaur skeletons. There is a lot more but we ran out of time hugely despite going at 3 pm, 2.5 hours wasn’t even enough to touch the surface . This time I went with a friend but already booked tickets to go back on my own on Monday. It’s free but yoh have to book slots.

The main entrance is absolutely stunning and has the skeletons of a wooley mammoth, a dinosaur and a huge whale in the centre hanging down.

Never in my life have I been to a museum where dinosaur remains are on display or anything like that. I went to a naval museum in Peru a few years ago and have never attempted to visit another.

I find it impressive what can be seen inside a place like this, and in fact, your article has awakened the desire to visit a museum, although, in the city where I live, they are small museums that were previously the residences of famous musicians from Chile.

Going back to this one to get better footage as feel bad taking too much when with friends lol but I need to go back alone

When I'm with friends taking a lot of photos they ask me if I'm crazy hahaha.

They don't understand what it's like to be a content creator on Blurt

London tbh has a lot of amazing and free exhibitions and museums. Next I’ll be going to the British museum with the mummies etc I can’t believe I didn’t go to them more before I can get quite lazy I guess.
