It's Shopping Time | Kandy - Nugegoda

The last Sunday, we spent around Nugegoda so we didn't miss stopping by Nugegoda Kandy. We have been to Dehiwala Kandy which is not bigger as this, but this is the first time we visited Nugegoda Kandy. Even the car park was full and after waiting for some time we managed to take a spot.

Kandy is a shopping center with household items and is mostly famous for clothing. This one had 5 floors as I remember. The group floor is reserved for household items and the rest of the floors are for fashion items.

It took some time for us to adapt to the place and understand what is happening there. Actually, they had a phone shop, a casque shop and also a juice bar inside. We were a little bit hesitant to take photos as they had lots of crew walking everywhere. We checked some household items and it seems the prices are reasonable too.

Actually Harith wanted to buy a shirt for a wedding. But we decided to walk through every floor just to get an idea about the place. They had a very big footwear collection as well. We were just walk through everywhere to see what is available.

When stopped by the ladies' wear floor I noticed a big frock collection. There was a lot of variation even I couldn't pick which one is good. Thankfully Harith showed me a frock that looked very attractive and I also felt the need for it. We picked a Small size one from them and I tried it out.

🙈 Actually it fitted very well with me and his choice was fantastic. So we decided to buy it for a very special day.

Then we went to the next floor to pick a shirt for him.

Shirt collection also was very big and there were plenty of brands with lower to higher prices. They had both new and old stocks and new stocks are expensive and more than double as old. It took us some time to pick a suitable shirt with the color he was looking for.

Finally we went to the upper floor with party dresses. As plenty of weddings are coming in the future, I wanted to have a look at prices of dresses. Recent dresses are very expensive and most of them are more than 10 000.

But they had a very big collection throughout a floor with different styles.

After spending about 1.30 h at the Kandy shop we returned home. I think Kandy Nugegoda is a good place to visit if you want to pick one from a larger collection.
