I later discovered that my younger ones now pushes me to get stuffs from their own father,at first I enjoyed it thinking it was a big sister thing. You get it.
Hence, I was always there when they needed me too but at some point I knew I wasn't helping them at all. It's more or less like me being an hindrance to accessing their father. I mean who does that🤷. Immediately that thought popped up in me then I knew I had to act fast.
The next time either of them came to me, I'd tell the individual "go and meet him" he's your father. Sometimes I hint the individual on how I would have said it, some times I would say hold on till a particular time etc. After all the aim was to let them learn how to Access their father not when in need alone but anytime and for anything.
This also applies to you as a believer. God is your daddy, why would you wait to go to Him through someone when you can always reach out and communicate your heart to Him.
I am not disputing the fact that some persons can stand in faith with you on a matter, which almost everyone does. I am also not saying those God has placed as a covering over you can get to speak to your father about you than you even would have done. What I am saying is, have a relationship with Him, He longs to fellowship with you, talk to you,talk with you, laugh with you, feel your pains, carry your burdens and all you can think of.
Spend time with Him through the word,prayer, worship, thanksgiving, talks, etc that's where intimacy starts from. C'mon now, try it and you'll see that the lord is good! He loves you dearly and cares about you.
