According to reliable sources, it has been revealed that a significant number of Ghana-must-go bags, totaling at least 18, containing money and documents, were removed from the residence of Godwin Emefiele, the suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).
This event occurred after an extensive search of Emefiele's Lagos home, which lasted throughout the day on Friday.
Emefiele, who had been detained by the DSS since his arrest on June 10, has now spent eight days in their custody. It appears that his stay may be prolonged beyond initial expectations, as the investigation into his actions during his tenure at the apex bank is still ongoing.
Sources suggest that the DSS obtained a court order on Thursday, granting them permission to detain the former CBN chief for a period of three weeks. There are indications that he might even be held for a longer duration.
On Thursday, Emefiele was transferred from the DSS custody in Abuja to Lagos, where his residence was subjected to the search by DSS operatives.
The search concluded on Friday, during which time the aforementioned Ghana-must-go bags, containing both currency and documents, were seized and subsequently taken away.
Later on Friday afternoon, Emefiele was flown back to Abuja along with the bags, and investigators have resumed their questioning regarding the contents and their implications. The focus of the interrogation primarily centers around the discoveries made during the search.

How do we trust the ones making the accusations and conducting the search?
Hmm, that's another angle to view it from, because this officers themselves too are corrupt. Before you know it now everything will die down and people won't hear a thing about it again.
