Islam recognizes individual ownership within certain limits. In the case of private ownership, there is no distinction between the means of production and the commodities, or between the income earned from labor and the income received from non-labor. Islam gives people the general right of ownership.

But limits him. There is no concept in Islam on the basis of which the means of production can be distinguished between the means of production and the necessities of life and the means of production can be excluded from the scope of private ownership and the mere necessities can be included in it.

In the eyes of Islam, one can possess such a thing as clothes, utensils and home furniture. In the same way he can gain ownership of land, machines and factories. In this way, just as a person is legally entitled to his direct earned money, so he can also be the owner of the abandoned property of his father, mother, wife or husband.

And based on the principle of partnership, he can also be a partner in such earnings. Which another person is earning through his own hard work using his capital. Islam does not differentiate between ownership of the means of production or ownership of daily necessities or ownership of money earned through labor or idleness.

Rather, the basis of difference in Islam is the legitimacy or illegality of the means of earning money or the haram or halal method of using money. Islam has blueprinted the entire economic life in such a way that people can earn money independently by being within certain boundaries.

I have already said that the importance of human freedom in the eyes of Islam is immense and it is on the basis of this freedom that he builds the whole palace of development and progress of humanity. In order to preserve this freedom of the people, it is essential to give the right of private ownership to the means of economic means.

Man's inalienable freedom is inevitably eroded by the deprivation of human private property rights and the establishment of collective ownership over all means of economy.
