SUFFERING AND JOY; A THING TO EMULATE.

In most situations of our dear existence we turn to take up grievances from all forms of sorrows we encounter.
And life itself isn't a bed of roses but rather a sphere of 'Suffering and Joy'. Yes! We suffer and same way derive joy,but we obviously turn to admonish the sufferings more, simply because we hate to stress(suffer) which isn't too good. It is even often said that "after pain comes pleasure" and I can lead that quote to Jesus' story starting from His entry to Jerusalem on a colt down to his passion, death and resurrection, which the Catholic Church observes as 'Lent,Palm Sunday,Holy Week, Easter Triduum and Easter Sunday respectively, etc.

"Hosanna to Jesus!
Blessed is He who comet in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the highest heaven!!"
Just so👆,the people of Jerusalem shouted and rejoiced, welcoming Jesus' triumphant entry to their land. Indeed! So sweet as he was treated as he ought to. But dishearteningly,he was thereafter treated with wickedness 🤦, starting his Paschal mystery. Even though he had all the powers to overcome these and let go of it,he however didn't,but bore the sufferings and pains on our behalf 😔 for God's glory to prevail.
Now, link this to our daily lives. Sometimes it happens to us such that we rejoice of something great and shortly after we experience another tragic event and then start questioning God; "My God! My God!! Why have you forsaken me?" Just as Jesus screamed and shouted on the cross, but after Jesus' death he resurrected on the third day (Easter Sunday) which brought the greatest feast celebration with joy. And that is how most times God does these,so in the end we will have more cause to celebrate and glorify his holy name.

Further more, having read the elaborations as clearly stated above, you'll realize that we really need to emulate suffering and joy will sure outcome in the later, and of course other interesting deeds will accompany.

Dear brethren! May we, like Christ act rightfully in difficult times and let thy will be done as it pleases God,and in the end we'll have that joy that lasts forever hopefully. As
Christ has Died,Christ is Risen, and Christ will come again in glory!
May the joy that comes in the victorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus remain with you now and forever. Amen.

Meanwhile the pictures attached here were taken while I also acted the passion play/drama of Jesus' suffering and death at St. Gabriel's Catholic Quasi-Parish, Makurdi Diocese, Nigeria.

Happy Easter Celebration to you too. I like these passion plays. Those that look beyond the artificial acting will always meditate on the sufferings of Jesus and hopefully amend their ways to avoid condemnation. Nice one.
