Our hopeless situation in the nation state, Nigeria, There is no hope in standing in brotherhood..

Hoping hopelessly

As citizens of a nation you believe that you will be protected by the state.

Your kith and kind are been killed ceaselessly,no where to turn to for help..
You are driven away from your ancestral homes by herdsmen/bandits to unknown places where you are almost always not sure of where your next meal will come, how your health will be taken care of ,you are completely dependent on benevolence and good will from people who are also breathing through their mouths. People who are able-bodied, who were taken care of families now live from day to day waiting for hand-outs.

Irrespective of all these, you keep hoping that peace will come and normalcy will return someday with the intervention of government.

But government your only hope is now at the receiving end of the same menace that has sent you scampering from your comfort zones;

90 defenseless people were killed in zamfara state were killed followed immediately by about fifty were killed in shiroro including thirty combatants of Nigerian defense soldiers…

A Convoy of the head of state is attacked by the same people who have displaced you and nothing seem to be happening .
A corrections center holding the worst of this group, in most protected city and the sit of the state is attacked in an operation that lasted for hours and the chief bandits held here were all released- we are hearing that they came on motorbikes and had superior fire power and that security was called off awhile before they stroke- hmmm

Uptill now no one has been reprimanded or sacked

Our hope for protection from government seem to be simply hopeless.
