When Adam and Eve committed sin, why did God create the apple?
Hello, Brethren. I hope you are all doing well. In accordance with Pastor Eli's teaching, I'd want to offer today my perspective and life experiences on why God produced the apple that led Adam and Eve to sin when they ate it.
However, Pastor Eli elaborated on his message as he quoted the verses listed below: Gen 1:31, 1 Timothy 4:4, Gen 2:16–17, and 1 John 3:4.
1:31 in Genesis And when God looked at all he had created, he realized that everything was excellent. The sixth day was in the evening and the morning.(KJV)
God made everything for our benefit.- The Rev. Eli Soriano
Since everything that God made was wonderful, why then did Adam commit the sin of eating the fruit in the middle of the garden, I think that this is the question that everyone has been asking.
Adam didn't sin out of his own free will because he was warned and commanded by God not to eat from the tree because even the tree was not intended to kill him once he ate from it, as we can see from the fact that he continued to live for a number of years after eating from it. Instead, Adam sinned because he decided to associate himself with his wife Eve's sin after she persuaded him to do so.
Satan will work against both God and man since he is the eternal adversary of both.- The Rev. Eli Soriano
We can also see that Adam and Eve obeyed God the whole time they lived in the garden up to the appearance of Satan.
Due to his own depravity and other characteristics, Satan would prefer that no one experience God's benefits; thus, he would stop at nothing to persuade people to disobey God.
According to the Bible, disobedience is a sin that is similar to witchcraft, and we are not supposed to let a witch live.
Adam was expelled from the Garden of Eden as a result of his rebellion against God.
Now we shall see that Adam was slain by the tree's disobedience, not by the tree's design. Instead of dying after eating the fruit, Adam and his wife were driven from the garden to suffer in accordance with the divine law of engagement, which also led to the suffering in our current world.
God's laws are holy and true, and unless he decided to forgive us, he wouldn't make an exception or regard our transgressions as righteousness.
If I may say so, Adam was allowed to eat from many of the trees in the garden, but he listened to his wife's arguments when the devil tricked her.
No matter how well things have been going, God's creation may turn against us if we disobey Him. Everything God made is good and flawless, and it cannot hurt us.
Adam's sin was brought on by his breaking God's commandment, not by eating the fruit.- The Rev. Eli Soriano
This quote from Pastor Eli's sermon is a true indication from the passage above that the apple does not have the power to kill anyone who should eat it or even make one sinful, but Adam's sin came in the course of disobeying God's order because even the tree in the middle of the garden was beautiful to look at and does not appear harmful. Adam's sin came in the course of disobeying God's order.
God did not intend for us to sin in any way.- The Rev. Eli Soriano
However, God intended Adam to follow him out of his own free will regardless of what, which was not evident in Adam's behavior when his wife offered him the fruit to eat. God's intention was not for the tree to lead Adam to sin.
4:1 Timothy Because everything that God creates is beneficial and cannot be rejected if it is welcomed in thanksgiving:(KJV)
Nothing would be able to cause death if God hadn't allowed it. God created us with excellent things, including food and everything else.
Most of the time, we consume certain foods out of hurry or hunger without giving God thanks, and this is wrong. In other cases, individuals choose what to eat or what to avoid based on their beliefs or religion, but as we can see from the verses above, we should accept or rather consume all that is offered to us with gratitude.
The misuse of all these things that God has made is the only thing that is harmful.- The Rev. Eli Soriano
We must understand that every creature made by God is good. For instance, Pastor Eli said how those who consume marijuana put their lives in danger, but in actuality, this plant is also used to generate medications that kill people by dulling their pain perception.
Therefore, everything that God has made is excellent and should be utilized properly since even God will not be held responsible if people die because they misuse something that God has made for their benefit.
Conclusion
We must accept the fact that we serve a loving God who always intends for our best interests to prevail.
No part of God's creation is intended to kill or turn us into sinners, but the way we treat certain aspects of it does just that.
God wouldn't interfere with our decisions or activities, but we are still accountable for the results and ripple effects of whatever we do.
God thank his faithful servant Pastor Eli for such a wonderful lesson, and God bless everyone who read this article.
