I know very little about "promotions". To me, that means advertisements! To promote something is to encourage its use. So I'm a little confused how they work.

If you will, they are already being funded. That shows the graphic 'STARTED'. But the more votes the proposal has, the better...
The proposals get funded by the DAO fund. If you go into the FAQs and look for the question 'How many new tokens are generated by the blockchain?', the proposal system is mentioned there with 10% of the new tokens.
We need this fund to attract new/more devs to encourage them to develop cool new stuff on the Blurt blockchain.
HIVE for example didn't have this problem... A lot of good devs just moved to Hive because they hated Justin Sun and were even involved in the making of Hive. Their proposal system funds stuff like 'Actifit', 'Keychain', 'Ecency' etc. etc....
It looks like the votes are not mixed up anymore...on my side.
I now voted for the proposals.

I am showing the whole list , you missed one proposal.
Also, we can all create proposals for the good of Blurt, whatever there are.
I just hope the problem with voting, will be resolved like i said in my post and proposals not be mixed with witnesses votes.
That is MKs burn proposal. He took his own votes off of it, to enable khroms and nalexadre proposals to be paid out.
