WALANG SANGIT (Leptocorisa oratorius)

Good night and good luck with our respective activities. So on this occasion tonight I want to share pictures of walang sangit.

Walang sangit is an insect that lives in plantations and grass, this walang sangit belongs to the category of pests that are harmful to humans, the plants that are usually attacked by them are rice plants, they suck all the beneficial fluids in the rice plant.

According to an explanation from Wikipedia, walang sangit is an insect that is an important pest on cultivated plants, especially rice. Walang sangit is a member of the order Hemiptera (true ladybugs).

We can find walang sangit in plantation areas or rice fields, they often live in grass, especially rice plants, for the characteristics of walang sangit as follows.

  • small stature about 2 cm

  • has green and brown colors

  • has a pair of long antennae in front of his head

  • has two brown wings

  • has long legs of which three on the left and three on the right Walang sangit is an insect that we often encounter in rice fields, and here are some pictures of the following bugs.
