According to information from Wikipedia, caterpillars are the larval stage of members of the order Lepidoptera (an insect order consisting of butterflies and moths).
What I know before the caterpillar becomes a butterfly is that it is a voracious eating insect and this time the caterpillar is a long hairy caterpillar. Here are some pictures I took photos.
