Based on the explanation from Wikipedia, Dragonflies or sibar-sibar and Dragonfly Needles are a group of insects belonging to the Odonata nation.
In my area people call it by the name Capung. I don't think this dragonfly is a pest that harms humans. I found this dragonfly behind my house where I happened to be looking for a photo object. Dragonflies have two types of shapes, some of which are shaped like my picture and some are small in shape or commonly referred to as needle dragonfly. The following is a picture of the dragonfly object.
