AI as a Counterfeiting Human Intelligence Technology (CHIT)

in newvisionlife •  last year

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the counterfeiting of the human intelligence or human behavior or human tasks.
It is time to stop hallucinating, today's AI/ML/DL is not a true AI, but a Counterfeiting AI (CAI).

AI as a Counterfeiting Human Intelligence Technology (CHIT)

A human-mimicking AI is probably one of the most harmful fakes in science and technology and detrimental counterfeits in human life, creating significant safety and security threats and existential risks.

It features in articles, books, politician speeches, and the big tech products and services, from Microsoft/OpenAI to Alphabet/Google to Meta/Facebook, creating a multi-trillion fake AI industry.
As to PwC’s Global Artificial Intelligence Study: Exploiting the AI Revolution, such a human-imitating AI could contribute up to $15.7 trillion1 to the global economy in 2030.
According to Gartner, 1 out of 3 corporates claimed having implemented A.I. “in some form”.
As a matter of fact, there is no Artificial Intelligence, if only as counterfeit products and services.
Today's AI impersonated as Machine Learning, Deep Learning and .
Today's AI impersonated as Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Neural Networks or NLP, is essentially Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Probability theory, Automated Predictive Analytics and Statistical Software Libraries, with Big Biased Data Web Scraping and Energy-hungry Big Compute, having nothing with human intelligence and learning, if only produced by it.
Neural Networks, which are sold interchangeably as AI, Deep Learning or Machine Learning, are in fact an iterated sequence of matrix multiplications.
And AI/ML/DL models and algorithms do not have an embedded model of the world that can reliably distinguish between the truth and the lies.
Today's AI is not only a commercial hype, but a commercial fraud [of imitating human intelligence by counterfeit quasi-intelligent services and products] on a multi-billion commercial scale.
"Counterfeiting is a fraudulent imitation (a forgery) of a trusted brand and product, and it is a serious crime. Under U.S. federal law, for example, criminal counterfeiting offenses can be punished by life in prison and up to $30,000,000 in fines".
