Y'all welcome to another episode of sport-aneous, todays blog post is gonna be about the current 300level computer science students who won the NACOS Tournament 2023.
I know most of us will like to ask WHAT IS NACOS? NACOS stands for "Nigeria Association of Computing Students" It is the umbrella body for students studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, and all IT-related courses in Nigeria. But our main focus is on the MAU Yola NACOS chapter Football tournament.
This football tournament was held by the NACOS MAU Yola, chapter and it was a great competition filled with thrilling and beautiful plays. Where the winner went home with the trophy and the losers went home empty 😂
The two level that made it to the finals are the 300 level and the 500 level, the game was a very though one between this two teams; 20 minutes into the game the 500 level team scored a goal sending a trembling chill into the camp of the 300 level team, and their fans.
At the 44th minute the 300 level equalized, before the referee blew the halftime whistle.
Into the 2nd half, the match went on with hot and tense plays from both teams and goals attempt kept coming back to back till the 86th minute when Vash the team captain of the 300 level scored a winning goal, which led to a victorious win, causing a joyous rumble among the team and their fans and they went home happy with the trophy.
