Soy constructor y he dedicado casi toda mi vida a fabricar cosas y a repararlas.
It's been a while since I wrote for myself. That? Do you write for yourself and not for others? It is a question that was asked me recently when I was sharing with some friends my experience with writing on the Internet.
Well, I always write for others, but when it comes to editorials, it's like an internal dialogue, a monologue where I can see, from another perspective, the point I want to address.
Although I had already written about something similar, I want to share my concerns in this publication, believing that those who read it can express their opinion and share their points of view, because the idea is to reach a consensus where everyone's voice has power.
You will agree with me that quality is something that has many nuances, so what is quality for some may be mediocre for others. In my particular case, I have found publications that only contain photos of flowers, the same flower from almost the same angle, and with poor content. Is it possible that some creativity does not exist in the mind? Is your life so monotonous that you have nothing to share?
And there the drama begins, as they say here in Chile because they want with all their hearts to be included in the Blurtbooster white list, but they do absolutely nothing to improve and be added, since, in Blurt, there is a channel available on Discord, to help those who really want to improve their articles.
It seems that most users do not want to put effort into creating articles with good content and a message to tell, despite how easy it is to create a story. And I am sure that the capacity of each one of us is gigantic because since we were children, we are in contact with lies and stories that we come to invent to boast with our friends and make ourselves seem interesting or popular.
Why not use the same strategy when creating fictional stories? In Blurt we can find authors who, through artificial intelligence, create drawings of the dreams they have had during the night, and narrate their experience in this regard. This is good because the creativity that each one of us carries inside comes out, and that, most likely, is asleep due to laziness in using our brains.
I always say to myself: "If I have to think anyway... why don't I think big?" And this has served as a stimulus when making decisions, or starting to write an article. Has it worked for me? Of course, I do, but this is linked to creating a community, getting followers or subscribers who read my content, voting for it, and leaving me a comment.
Do I look for votes in my articles? Of course! This is also a business, but I am also looking for interaction, new friends, and meeting and learning about new cultures and their ways of doing things. I am a builder and have spent most of my life making things and fixing them. I love my job, and I'm constantly looking to do things much better and faster.
In this sense, I do the same in content creation, and perhaps this technique can work for others, improving their content and gaining positions within the platform.
So, I'm still willing to help improve others while I improve myself as an author, as a worker, and as a human being.
In short, mentoring is a teaching process in the field of content writing in Blurt and for Blurt. The mentoring will be guided by collaborating users who assume the role of mentor (@angelica7, @oneray) and will be in charge of sharing their knowledge with those who attend the activity. We can all be in different countries, however, we have determined that 15 UTC hours will be a good start for all of us to be present, however, you can still go through the channel [mentors-general-chat](https:/ /discord.gg/NmDw4MGHct) the day and time you want to leave your questions and concerns about your publications, which will be answered as soon as possible.
We hope to be able to help everyone in general, whether they are new users or users who have been accompanying us since the creation of this wonderful platform, since everyone is welcome to give their contributions and at the same time to help those who need it most and have the burning desire to grow on this platform.

Oneray
Perhaps not all of us are great writers, but I'm sure we always have something to say. Oneray
You've missed the point: the post with the same repeated photo is a work of art demonstrating the timelessness of time in the digital recording of nature 🤣
Photography doesn't forgive: either it catches the eye of the viewer, because the photographer himself has been captivated by his subject, or it's totally bland and tasteless, because it's been hastily captured without any hint of interest. The same goes for the text of a post.
Earlier today, I read a short post with a few photos. The first paragraph sums up the post perfectly and was enough to make me stop and appreciate it for its full value. As well I still remember a post where a father just talked about the little blanket of his daughter, and it must have been almost a week since I read it, just like other posts I've read or whose photos are still in my head.
A good post is one you don't forget as soon as you read it.
Blurt is just a reflection of the IRL world, where you can meet great people, see motivated people, or others eager to learn, as well as the opposite of all that.
In the case you're talking about, it's not a question of having something to share, but rather of having the desire to share something with others. It's more of a one-sided relationship.
There are so many things yet to be learned that I believe that all the rest of our lives would not be enough to obtain them.
I totally agree that you have to have the desire to want to share something with others. I learned from someone in another chain that, although we are not all writers, we always have something to tell, and without a doubt, it is at the discretion of the user to want to share it with others.
There are users whose posts show the pleasure they feel when writing, others, on the contrary, write anything and ask for a strong vote, without building a community of followers, without making friends on the platform, and without making any effort.
I hope that at least users who want to learn and let themselves be helped appear.
I am not sure if you aware of this issue. Or how well established is ypur history over the socialgraph account, the regent account, etc. But from my memory, they were created to obtain what the "foundation" called "security for the betterment of blurt" or something along those lines.
These accounts or more specifically the regent account, was given fake blurt power and was used to maintain certain witnesses in the top 20.
This same account started harvesting vests through votes and once acquired enough liquid wad given to socialgraph account ehich delegations are given out to other accounts such as blurtbooster.
It is also being used to pay themselves ie several foundation members with blurt acquired, in my eyes through nefarious means.
What's your opinion over having an account that obtained an incredible amount of blurtpower, that is not by any means obtained fairly such as buying or earning it, and is currently bleeding away the pools recognize at a fast rate?
I think this is why Blurt can't grow and prosper - it's covered in leeches.
I must honestly admit that I am completely unaware of this topic. I have read something about it when the discontent that several users expressed for something they called "false tokens" was evidenced in some articles.
Not being versed in this subject, I tried to learn, but still haven't achieved my goal, and I get confused in some aspects where others seem to be quite professors.
A few months ago, I read the thread that ctime, megadrive, mariuszkarowski, among others, had, talking about this and other topics, and I came to think that they had reached a good agreement since I never read about it again. If the agreements are still not favorable, I hope that at some point they will achieve this objective, since the idea is that we all win.
Good to know. I'll look into it.
I salute to you! You really know how to write and get me hooked with your stories even how long it is because I know I can learn something from it. It is full of wisdom and even life lessons. I just hope many will read and discover how good it is.♥️👏
Thank you very much for your comment 🥰
Hello @oneray, I started blogging in 1998, on some of the very earliest versions of Blogger and LiveJournal, along with now defunct MDD. The roots of blogging were both very personal as well as social; they were the foundation of what we might call "The Internet of PEOPLE" as opposed to the original notion of "The Internet of INFORMATION and THINGS."
MySpace and Facebook changed the landscape by skimming the "social" aspects of blogging, and what was left behind was blogging more as a niche information portal... you blogged about something you had expertise in, and if you wanted to socialize, you could go to Facebook. Or twitter.
I blog primarily for personal reasons; my writing is a sharing of the experience of LIFE. And yes (side comment to @drutter) I use pictures of flowers in my blogs, mostly to break up "walls of text" with something reasonably pretty... and I prefer using my own photos, rather than some generic web imagery. in 25-odd years I may have used 1% "official" graphics in my online writing which probably exceeds 100,000 articles, by now!
In saying that "I write for me," I also write to share observations and insights that might be useful to others... and if even one person reads something I wrote and is slightly helped/enlightened/informed/comforted by the words... well, then I have "succeeded!"
Thanks for hosting this discussion!
Wow. That's a lot of time :)
I read some of your articles when I started writing on another platform. I'm still a rookie compared to your long career and that of many here at Blurt, as well as on sister platforms.
I don't know why I hadn't found you on Blurt, but I know that when the student is ready, the teacher appears, and that is precisely what I perceive now because I can enlarge my experience with your writings.
Thank you very much for commenting.
Ray, I have seen more photos of flowers on Blurt (and the other blockchains) to last a lifetime. I do love flowers, and Nature, but we have enough pictures of them already! I don't think anyone should be censored or prevented from posting any particular thing, even boring flower photos. But that doesn't mean I am going to encourage them with my vote! : )
Exactly. The point is that they want them to be supported with strong votes, but they don't strive to bring interesting content, where you see that there was an effort to create it. For example, @r2cornell, posts about flowers, but his content is full of experiences, including feeling for his wife's death, the old women he cares for, and wanting to retire but not being able to do it yet because there are things to attend to.
Sometimes I feel like a villain trying to help others, leaving, in a comment under their articles, the necessary recommendations so that they can receive the attention and support of the curators.
