Always have faith in God.

Having faith in God is the best thing in life. Good is wonderful and he never fails his own. He even draw those that has gone astray closer to him so they can experience his unending love.
As a BLURTIAN, a writer, and a Nigerian, my faith has grown overtime. I have had faith in so many things including this lovely platform, in the current condition of my family, in my education and also in my life as a human. So today I will be using the story of Job to explain what it is by having faith....

Going through our Bible in the book of Job, we all know about the famous story of Job who good loved because of his unbreakable faith. He was a righteous and wealthy man who lived a peaceful life with his family and possessions. Job was known for his deep faith and trust in God, and he was highly respected by his community.

Satan, saw Job's wealth and challenged his faith in God. He claimed that Job was only faithful because God had blessed him and that he would curse God if he lost everything. God allowed Satan to test Job, and he was struck with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.
There are sacrifices you have to make in order for your faith to be put into the ultimate test. Being faithful is not all about claiming it, but showing how faithful you are to God

Another thing is how Job's wife urged him to curse God and die, but Job replied,

"Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?" (Job 2:10)

When you're going through lots of bad things, even your closest relation or partner will give you a bad advice, but through faith and hope, you shall overcome it.

Continuation

One day, Satan struck Job's life. Destroy everything he had. Raiders stole his cattle and donkeys, fire destroyed his sheep, and a very heavy windstorm destroyed his house, killing all of his children. Job was devastated and confused by these tragedies. He couldn't understand why God had allowed these things to happen to him, a faithful and righteous man.
God never gives you a burden bigger than you. He knows your capacity and gives you what you can handle.

Despite his suffering, Job didn't lose faith in God. He tore his robe and shaved his head in mourning but continued to worship God. He said,

"Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job 1:21)

Job's friends came to comfort him, but they couldn't understand why God had allowed such suffering to happen to him. They believed that Job must have done something to deserve such punishment. But Job knew that he was innocent and that his suffering wasn't as a result of his own sins. He cried out to God, asking for an explanation, but God remained silent.

Job's faith was tested further as his friends accused him of wrong doings and challenged his righteousness. But Job continued to trust in God, saying,

"Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." (Job 13:15)

When you believe, you can't be broken.

Finally, God spoke to Job. He didn't give any reason for Job's suffering but reminded him of His power and sovereignty. God asked Job lots of questions, challenging his power and authority over the universe and his place in it. Though he later realized that he had been questioning God's judgment and and asked God for forgiveness.

The restoration

God then restored Job's fortunes, giving him twice as much as he had before. Job lived to be an old man, with lots of children and grandchildren.
This is the story of Job.

The story of Job is a testament to the power of faith and hope in the face of adversity. Despite losing everything he had, Job continued to trust in God and refused to curse him. He didn't understand why he was suffering, but he knew that God was powerful and just. Job's faith was tested, but he remained steadfast, even when his friends turned against him.

The story of Job reminds us that suffering is a part of life, but our response to it determines our character and our relationship with God. When we face trials, we must hold onto faith and hope, knowing that God is with us, even when we don't understand His ways. We must trust in his sovereignty and goodness, even when everything seems to be falling apart.

In conclusion

The story of Job teaches us to have faith and hope in God, even in the darkest moments of our lives. It shows us that suffering is not a punishment for our sins, but a part of the human experience. We must trust in God's goodness and wisdom, even when we don't understand his ways. Like Job, we must hold onto our faith and hope, knowing that God will never leave.

God is good.
