Street smartness has it more

Hmmmm, comparing catching up with life, with knowledge gotten from school and with knowledge from the street is a strong one because they somehow work hand to hand.

As for me, I've not actually made it in life, but at the stage I'm currently at, I've been surviving with both knowledge from school and those I picked up from the street.

But somehow, I think the street smartness has a big portion of it. Let me put it down with examples.

You know about relationship books, right? I mean those written by religious leaders, where they usually admonish people in relationship to go on the right track with regards to how it was done in the days of old (the Bible days).
Well, these books are not bad, but as for me, I'll never go and settle for most of the knowledges there. Do you know why? Such books will never tell you how to outsmart some troubles in relationships, as it is these days. Those books will tell you to stay, endure, and build a relationship on a road leading to marriage, which is the opposite of what we have in our current days. These days, if you stay and endure nonsense, then be ready to see yourself being being dribbled like football in Messi's leg.
This modern-day relationship needs street smartness to survive, no two ways about it!

Crypto in the university?

We all know how the Cryptoverse has helped a lot of people to pick up financial settlement in life, and as far as I know, cryptocurrrency is not taught in schools...not in Nigerian universities that I know. The skill is a streetwise thing, open to anyone that wants to hop in.

Let me take it down a little...

We know the internet fraudsters, do you know that a majority of them are dullards?

Some years back, when I worked in an eatery, there were these guys who would come to buy food in large quantities and squander money like water. We were shocked to find out that none of them were educated to a higher institution level. Not just at this point but also, some of them were not able to speak pidgin English in a fluent manner. One would be finding it hard to pronounce ordinary "fried rice"... he would go on pronouncing it as "flied rice". In case you want to say maybe his vocal system can't pronounce "r," note that he pronounced "rice" correctly and "fried" as "flied."

I don't know if they use voodoo in the process, but the fraudulent work was paying for them.
But how are they managing to catch clients with their academic illiteracy? That's street!

Although what's currently surviving me is not what I learned in school, but somehow, being knowledgeable in school has helped a lot.

For blogging...

To be a writer in suck platform as this (HIVE), one needs to be educated, at least to know how to read, write, and be able to pass information via writing.
I know I'm not good at grammar, but I acknowledge that being educated to some extent has been my superpower here. This part of my hustle has helped me beyond my imagination, and I thank the day I decided to go to school.

Thanks for reading
