Final year High School Day

It has become a tradition around the universities of Nigeria for every final students to have a one week of fun activities. My school has schedule to start its second semester exams by September 9, so all the final years students are just trying to catch a little fun before they begin their final exams, yesterday they did jersey rally, while today they did high school.

High School Days:

  • Waking up early for school
  • Rushing to class, trying not to be late
  • Lockers, textbooks, and homework
  • Friendship and laughter with classmates
  • School spirit, sports, and clubs
  • Learning from teachers and mentors
  • Growing and discovering oneself
  • Memories that last a lifetime

Some popular activities:

  • Sports teams and games
  • Music and art programs
  • School plays and performances
  • Clubs and extracurricular activities
  • School dances and prom
  • Graduation day

High school emotions:

  • Excitement and nervousness
  • Joy and heartbreak
  • Friendship and rivalry

  • Anticipation for the future

Students celebrate High School Day for several reasons:
