Yesterday I had to go to my favorite nursery to buy some fungicide for my desert roses. As I have already told you, I had six desert rose plants. These plants bloom very beautifully and are highly resistant to the sun. The problem with them is that they do not tolerate much water.

Ayer tuve que ir a mi vivero favorito para comprar algún fungicida para mis rosas del desierto. Como ya les he contado, tenía seis plantas de rosas del desierto, estas plantas florecen muy lindo y son resistente al sol en gran manera, el problema de ellas es que no toleran mucho el agua.

I have my plants in the window and in recent weeks it has rained practically every afternoon. I thought it wouldn't hurt them since during the morning and in the afternoon until 4 pm they receive enough intense sun... but I was wrong.

Mis plantas las tengo en la ventana y estas ultimas semana ha llovido prácticamente todas las tardes. Pensé que no les haría daño ya que durante la mañana y en la tarde hasta las 4 pm ellas reciben suficiente sol intenso... pero me equivoqué.

The plants began to look ugly, their leaves turned yellow and a type of yellow fungus grew. The guy at the nursery recommended me a product to spray them after removing all the leaves and changing all the soil that is supposed to already be contaminated. Daily exposure to water caused one of them to die, its root completely rotted and it was impossible to recover it.

Las plantas se empezaron a poner feas, sus hojas amarillas y les salió un tipo de hongo amarillo. El chico del vivero me recomendó un producto para rosearlas después de quitarles todas las hojas y cambiarle toda la tierra que se supone ya debe estar contaminada. La exposición diaria al agua hizo que una de ellas se muriera, se le pudrió completamente la raíz y fue imposible recuperarla.

Once I had purchased the fungicide and the soil to change the pots, I took advantage of my visit to see the plants that he had on display at that time, and well, as always, I ended up falling in love with all of them. Today I will share with you some plants that are called small carnation, I don't really know its scientific or real name but here, in Creole, we call it small carnation

I was tempted to buy one of these plants but I prefer to dedicate myself to my desert roses until they are completely recovered.
