What is it about a new week that excites you so much?

It is still the early hours of this day and I've heard wave after wave of 'Happy New Week' greetings.

I've also sent some to people and I genuinely wish they get to have a successful week, filled with top achievements. I do this subconsciously just like how I say good morning to someone because it's morning. Hehe.

Now, I'm wondering;

What is it about a new week that excites people so powerfully?

Barring the fact that many people have a sorta love-hate feeling towards Mondays and even though Monday is seen as the start of a new week by many people, a new week appears to have a more positive vibe that comes with it.

For the most part, it is an opportunity to have another go at setting and hitting goals. If you believe that to be true, I would suggest you start each new week by expressing gratitude to your maker for allowing you to see the new week.

Of course, you have plans for the week and it's left for you to do your part beyond a reasonable doubt to achieve these plans. Time management and discipline can be of great help in achieving your plans for each week especially if you are the type that juggles a lot of things.

There are lessons to be learnt from every experience, so reviewing the things you did a week before can also be a good way to identify things that worked as plans and things that needs to be tweaked to get a better result.

My plans for the week;

I've got an awful lot of writing to do this week and 70% of those won't be published on my blog. I also have so much to read offline and a couple of meetings that are fixed into my schedule for the week.

I plan to do all these and still squeeze out time to curate on the chain. That aside, the most important piece of what I have to do this week is to get enough sleep. You know, for those in the creative industry, having a sound mind helps in a lot of ways.

For the record, I think this is a good week to finally write and publish a post about my biphasic sleeping schedule. Look forward to that because you will stand to learn a thing or two.

Let's have a nice week 🙂.
