Who is the monster? Who is the psycho? Who is the culprit? Even as a seasoned detective with years of experience, can you look at someone and say they are responsible for a particular crime?
What if the detective is a psychotic serial killer? And, he is still active as a detective. How will he solve a case where he is the prime suspect?
This is one hell of an Amazing drama. The complexity of the storyline is visible throughout the 16 episodes of the show. The depth of each character in addition to the backstory added more dynamics to the complexity of each of them.
At a point in the show, I started suspecting everyone as 'the culprit'. Haha. Oh, my world!
Seriously, if you enjoy a suspense-filled drama with mind-blowing plot twists, this is the drama you need to dive into. Don't sit on this. The tension build-up flows with each sequence. Welcome to a world where nobody is strictly good or bad. No black or white. Just shades after shades of an individual depending on their decisions.
It gets even better if you are a Kdrama fan.
The drama is pure gold. The story kept me at the edge of my sit while watching it. I was thinking fast and hard to know who is good or bad, but that was never an easy conclusion to make.
They call this 'Beyond Evil'. You can rest assured that every episode will be far beyond your expectations. That's how good this show is.
What to expect in this Kdrama;
Thriller, mystery, psychological manipulation, investigation, suspense, murder, corruption, bromance.
All these were explored in the drama and the writer did a good job of weaving all these together to make a very interesting story. The actors on the other hand deserve to be paid in Gold for their amazing acting.
Some scenes had more facial expressions than verbal dialogue, and the actors did a good job of portraying these emotions - especially the two male leads.
I wouldn't want to end this without talking about the OSTs (Original Soundtrack) used in this show. Wowww... They were very amazing. I have 3 of those in my playlist and they are on repeat as I'm writing this review. Haha. They hit differently when it's playing in the background while watching the show.
Is it worth watching?
I believe I did a good job of telling you what to expect in this Kdrama without giving any spoilers. One thing I must say is that this is not the Kdrama for Oppas or Noonas. Haha. If romance is what you are looking for, I suggest you skip this ASAP.
But, if you enjoy watching something in the genre of what I narrated about this Kdrama, 'Beyond Evil' will surely whet your appetite as you dig into each episode.

Lemme just say this; What you get in this drama is a masterpiece and it will surely be a crime to miss this. Haha. I'm giving this a solid 9/10 🙂.
This show could have easily passed as one of those where psychos go on a rampage and hit people with a hammer whenever they want, but the scriptwriter and the director did a very awesome job of reducing that to the bare minimum. They focus on the emotional side of things and I LOVE IT.

¿Quién es el monstruo? ¿Quién es el psicópata? ¿Quién es el culpable? Incluso como detective experimentado con años de experiencia, ¿puedes mirar a alguien y decir que es el responsable de un determinado crimen?
¿Y si el detective es un asesino en serie psicótico? Y, todavía está activo como detective. ¿Cómo va a resolver un caso en el que él es el principal sospechoso?
Este es un drama increíble. La complejidad del argumento es visible a lo largo de los 16 episodios de la serie. La profundidad de cada personaje, además de la historia de fondo, añade más dinámica a la complejidad de cada uno de ellos.
En un momento de la serie, empecé a sospechar que todos eran "los culpables". Jaja. Oh, ¡mi mundo!
En serio, si disfrutas de un drama lleno de suspense con giros argumentales alucinantes, este es el drama en el que tienes que sumergirte. No te quedes con las ganas. La tensión aumenta con cada secuencia. Bienvenido a un mundo en el que nadie es estrictamente bueno o malo. No hay blanco o negro. Sólo matices tras matices de un individuo en función de sus decisiones.
La cosa se pone aún mejor si eres un fan de los dramas coreanos.
El drama es oro puro. La historia me mantuvo al borde de mi asiento mientras la veía. Pensaba rápido y duro para saber quién es bueno o malo, pero nunca fue una conclusión fácil de hacer.
A esto lo llaman "Más allá del mal". Puedes estar seguro de que cada episodio superará con creces tus expectativas. Así de buena es esta serie.
Qué esperar de este Kdrama;
Thriller, misterio, manipulación psicológica, investigación, suspenso, asesinato, corrupción, bromance.
Todo esto fue explorado en el drama y el escritor hizo un buen trabajo al entrelazar todo esto para hacer una historia muy interesante. Por otro lado, los actores merecen ser pagados con oro por su increíble actuación.
Algunas escenas tenían más expresiones faciales que diálogos verbales, y los actores hicieron un buen trabajo retratando estas emociones - especialmente los dos protagonistas masculinos.
No quisiera terminar esto sin hablar de la BSO (Banda Sonora Original) utilizada en esta serie. Wowww... Fueron muy sorprendentes. Tengo 3 de ellas en mi lista de reproducción y están en repetición mientras escribo esta reseña. Jaja. Pegan de manera diferente cuando está sonando de fondo mientras veo la serie.
¿Vale la pena verlo?
Creo que he hecho un buen trabajo diciendo lo que se puede esperar de este Kdrama sin dar ningún spoiler. Una cosa que debo decir es que este no es el Kdrama para Oppas o Noonas. Jaja. Si el romance es lo que buscas, te sugiero que te saltes esto cuanto antes.
Pero, si te gusta ver algo en el género de lo que narré sobre este Kdrama, 'Beyond Evil' seguramente te abrirá el apetito al profundizar en cada episodio.

Lo que se obtiene en este drama es una obra maestra y seguramente será un crimen perdérselo. Jaja. Le doy un sólido 9/10 🙂 .
Esta serie podría haber pasado fácilmente como una de esas en las que los psicópatas van a saco y golpean a la gente con un martillo cuando quieren, pero el guionista y el director hicieron un trabajo muy impresionante al reducir eso al mínimo. Se centran en el lado emocional de las cosas y me encanta.
