I have quit crypto blogging. It's no longer a sustainable source for me. I found Steemit.com and started blogging there due to unemployment due to being disabled. I talked about these issues in my blog in 2019 and 2020,
Steemit stopped sbd in rewards in April of 2022. my earnings on Hive dipped in June/July. I've struggled hard as a result. I never intended to only rely on these sites. I tried promoting Amazon Affiliate link posts, where I suggest my equipment, no luck, promoting my Patreon, art store etc, no luck.
I am a chronically ill creator, and social media is the only job that's accessible
You see a person who thinks they are entitled to loads of money on these sites. Under the iceberg is a disabled creator, watching their earnings slowly drop, panicking trying to find different content trends to bring people back to no avail. Stuck because they can't get supporters on Patreon or whatever. Some people have these sites as a side gig while disabled folks need them as a means to survive
I will still promote my content. The more reach the better. I will no longer make blog posts for these sites. It s no work putting in so much work to barely make it. I am monetized on Facebook and I could be making content for reels instead.
I will not make content for threespeak anymore. I will unlock instream ads on Facebook at 5k followers (ads on a full video instead of just reels) so VEDA and typical videos will be on my Facebook instead. I feel I should channel by energy towards platforms giving me tools instead of a platform keeping me struggling.
I am going to power down on all of my crypto platforms.
Steemit, Hive, Blurt, And Whaleshares.
