Amazing nature. / Naturaleza increíble.

En los últimos años he estado en contacto con la naturaleza mas de lo habitual, pues el entrar a un ambiente laboral de campo como es la agricultura conlleva tener que convivir con animales, insectos, plantas, bacterias hongos en tu entorno diario. Por ello aprendí a ver cuan perfecta es la naturaleza y me refiero a las capacidades de todos los animales, organismos y plantas para adaptarse y sobrevivir. Desde las diminutas polillas que se encuentran en mis invernaderos, hasta los patógenos mas pequeños que son visibles solo con microscopios.

In recent years I have been in contact with nature more than usual, because entering a field work environment such as agriculture involves having to live with animals, insects, plants, bacteria and fungi in your daily environment. That is why I learned to see how perfect nature is and I am referring to the capabilities of all animals, organisms and plants to adapt and survive. From the tiny moths found in my greenhouses, to the smallest pathogens that are visible only with microscopes.

Los hongos en modo macro de cámara se ven muy increíbles e interesantes, las formas, colores y texturas se pueden apreciar mejor. Estos me sorprenden como se adaptan a las condiciones de vida dentro de un invernadero pues usualmente aplicamos fungicidas que tienen efectos sobre ellos que impiden que crezcan de manera exponencial, sin embargo muchos se adaptan al ecosistema dentro de los invernaderos y se las arreglan para sobrevivir en medio de huecos, en medio de plantas y exactamente en el lugar donde se ven menos afectados.
En realidad no afectan al cultivo siempre y cuando no toquen las raíces de la planta, en teoría son inofensivos, pero suelen guardar muchas plangas bajo ellos.

Algunas ranas diminutas también se las arreglado para sobrevivir en el ecosistema de un invernadero, pese a fumigar con insecticidas algunas no se ven afectadas y suelen vivir tranquilamente sobre las plantas. Algunas son beneficiosas pues se alimentan de las polillas que afectan los cultivos.

Y de las cosas mas perfectas que he visto, ha sido el cambio de sexo de las plantas en condiciones climáticas extremas.
Es decir las plantas de tomate han pasado de ser hembras a machos, algo muy raro y loco de ver y creer, pero ha pasado ya que la planta de tomate debe asegurar su supervivencia para luego poder procrear descendencia, de este modo cuando el clima suele ser frio por las noches y caluroso por las mañanas y tardes, su sistema hace que las plantas solo tengan floración sin frutos, hasta que el periodo vuelve a su normalidad y algunas plantas vuelven nuevamente a dar frutos. Nosotros para acelerar ese proceso aplicamos hormonas para evitar este estrés en las plantas.

Por estos y otros motivos es cuando me doy cuenta que nuestra inferencia sobre el medio ambiente es realmente importante, pues la naturaleza tiene un curso que seguir año tras año, y nosotros podemos hacer que ese curso cambie, podemos alterar el equilibrio natural de las cosas que se la logrado con generaciones. Por lo tanto debemos tener conciencia acerca de como podremos causar desastres ecológicos al salir y arrojar basura a los bosques o en las carreteras con cultivos cerca, lanzar cristales puede crear incendios, llevar semillas de un sitio a otro también puede causar un desastre ecológico y otros ejemplos.
Es importante que tengamos conciencia con el medio ambiente y pongamos en practica la preservación de la vida.
