The Royal Mint has done it again..... Thats right, theyve churned out more over-priced, poorly designed, no thought put in to it, guaranteed to lose you money, silver and gold trinkets!!

Ok, maybe im being a little harsh on them, but then again, maybe im not! Ever since the success of their "Peter Rabbit" collection way back in 2016, theyve milked the childrens stories fornall their worth. Hoping to pull on the heart strings of parent of children currently into different cartoons, or playing on the whole nostalgia of these cartoon classics.

Eeyore may feel a little gloomy at times – it is hardly surprising when he lives in a corner of the Hundred Acre Wood known as the ‘Gloomy Place’ – but he has a kind and generous nature. Winnie the Pooh often comes across Eeyore and finds ways of cheering up the blue-grey donkey, and Eeyore accepts Pooh’s simple thinking.

Where to start?? Dull, boring, drab.... hideous, ugly, offensive, drawn by a 5yr old..... I really am struggling to find something positivento say about this silver coin.

I suppose it does have one thing going for it - a low mintage. 6010 totally worldwide is a positive for collectors, and may be a small saving grace for its sins. The first coins in the "Winnie the pooh" series began with 15000 coins, by drastically reducing the number it makes it difficult for all original investors to complete the set.

8g of 0.925 silver for £67.50, i think NOT

Using todays silver price and the weight and purity of the coin, the asking price of this coin is nothing but daylight robbery.

With a total of just £4.40 in silver, the rest of the £67.50 can be pit down to the royal mints greed alone. My advice is to avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs. Try the second hand market and pick up a bargin from people who over bought ans are not stuck holding worthless trinkets.
