Widely regarded as one of Englands greatest engineers, he is respo3for some of the UKs most iconic monuand landscapes. In 1833, before the Thames Tunnel was complete, Brunel was appointed chief engineer of the Great Western Railway. He had a vision that passengers could buy one simple ticket, and travel all tge way from LONDON to NEW YORK. Using revolutionary railway servaying techniques, he set about creating a railway mainline all the qay from London to Neyland(west Wales), where they could board a steamliner, of his design, and head off the 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
The Brunel Paddington Station £2 coin marked the 200th anniversary in 2006 of the birth of Brunel. The design by Robert Evans shows a section of Paddington Station's roof and the name BRUNEL. 7,452,250 coins entered general circulation amd if you were to list your Paddington Station coin on eBay, you could expect to receive £4.74 which includes an assumed postage charge of 2 pounds. They sell for kust above face value, but can still regularly be found in your pocket change.

Around the perimeter is a ring of chains(see photo of him above). If you list your Brunel coin on eBay, you can expect to receive £4.29 which includes an assumed postage charge of 2 pounds. So a little less valuable than his other 200m counterpart, but finding one in your change couldnstill result in a small profit on the secondary market
