Having singled out 8th March as a day to celebrate women worldwide stirs up some mixed feeling in me. On one hand I'm reminded that women are embodiment of hope, courage and life. Epitome of boldness, courage and beauty. Celebrating women gives me a sense of hope that women will help make the world a much better place for everyone.
On the other hand I feel it's crazy that women still have to fight for their rights right in the 21st century where modernity and civilisation is assumed to have consumed up the world yet this part of equality is yet to feel the full effect of this civilisation. However I'm most happy because the lives of many women are being impacted. Women can now stand and break every bias on their way, achieve their goals without being less of a woman.
