Instablurt - My Daughter's Cousin and Her Motherhood Journey

Blessed Sunday blurt community how was your weekend? Yesterday me and my daughter washed our laundry 🧺. It was really a tiring day, I was able to write few paragraphs but this story is to long to finished in one day.

Did I tell you that I was a teenage mom, I was 17 when I got pregnant to my eldest. I was supposed to study college but after mom knew my situation she got mad. It was really hard, my morning sickness almost killed me. I couldn't eat, I'll eat a litte but I'll vomit after, my mother in law pity my situation. They even thought that I'll be confined in the hospital. I was thin and weak, my husband takes good care of me so much. Then the moment of truth arrive, my due date arrive I had blood stain on my undies so we went to the hospital. I thought it will be easier for me to deliver my baby. But I almost called all the saints for help but the pain is getting worse and worst. I was told that it will be hard for me because it's my first time. The labor may took days, and I had the pain for more than 24 hours. That was lucky because others spend days, but I was also shouting because it's really painful. We even heard that teenage pregnancy is increasing. Then I heard my dear baby cried and all the pain was gone.

The teenage mom in my blog is my daughter's cousin. And the truth was I can relate in one side of her story. Let's hide her name & call her Marie, her mother was my friend she got pregnant a month ahead. She also a young mom like me, but I never thought that after she gave birth she'll left Marie, without a word. He had his father my husband's older brother but not as good as my husband. Marie was lucky she has a good grandparents that loves her so much. At first there had hesitations but they had no choice, my brother in law didn't even bother to talk to Marie's mom.

My sister in law didn't like Marie at all, she observed that while it's growing the attention of her parents was all into her. And she was right Marie has an attitude, lazy, disrespectful and other. They were a time that they had a fight I was not there but the whole story was told to me. She was sent away by my sister in law but everytime she flew in abroad my mother in law will send her back in the house. She will hide her grandchild, and every time his uncles will discipline Marie expect that she'll be defend by her grandmother.

Last year she got pregnant she hid it to everyone but an intense stomach pain brought to the hospital. And after an ultrasound the doctor saw that she was pregnant, her father almost shoot her she was lucky again she was with her step mom and grandmother. At home they were talking that they will abort the kid but it was save because the abortionist told that it can't be removed. They we're trouble and bother because my sisters in law suspicion was all right. They planned to hide Marie in time that my sister in law will go home. The happy money was all prepared my in-law covers all the expenses that will needed. But there no secret that will left behind, their secret was revealed my sister in law that Marie argue with help her in all she needs.

Marie told me that her baby change her aunt so much, it was the one who change her diaper in the recovery room. She never expect that her aunt will do all of that. My eldest was also there it was very close to her aunt. The total expenses in the hospital was $702 😱😱 we didn't spend that money in our four child. The husband of Marie didn't help at all, but she told me they still talk. I hope that Marie learns her lesson, my daughter and she was classmate but she stopped and will wait for the second semester to start. She'll be grade 11 taking second semester this year but for now she must deal with the hardships of being a young mother. The sleepless nights, restless days.

A mother's duty has no ending, like in Marie's story she is lucky to have a loving grandma. Till now Marie lives with my in-laws with her baby and hope she learned in her mistake and realized that life is not easy. So better to think not only twice but as many times as you can. Because you can never turned back the hands of time.
