Instablurt - Crated with Simplicity, Beauty and Love

After we realized that we already have the sponsor for the gown it's time to get busy for other stuff such as the float and other designs. And because the definite day is getting nearer I became more problematic. Because honestly I don't have any idea of how to make a float. What I did is to went backwards like I checked my husband's relative post on social media accounts. Because they are present last year, And here's what I found. But I still don't know how to make one 😅.

They are cousins of Ria they were asked to participate in the current program of our barangay, The flowers of May last year. But because of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 the gathering was force to stop. The ladies that supposed to be representing as queen are stoped and stocked in their houses. So two years ago they held a pageant for kids Little Miss Santa Lucia 2022. So last year together with the title holders and participants of the contest they gathered a mini Flowers of May. I saw that the kids such as Ria's cousin was able to joined. So I told myself I want Ria to also experience this event.

I still don't know what float we're to going to make. Then I saw these simple stuff. Hubby's god child, you can see that all was wrap with creep paper. I showed it to my brother in law and told me him that as simple as this will be a big help.

Then he told me to order paper flower online. At first me and the seller deal with 400 php or $6.94 but my brother in law talked to the seller and add more flowers because he knows what will fit in the float. He add another $6.94 I paid the half and told my husband to pay the other.

The creep paper will also be needed to cover up the side car. So while thinking and having coffee I made a flower.

Then here's what I bought online. I also asked plastic flowers to my auntie. And she also gave us few it will be added to the float. You can see we are making the float on the side of the road. Because our house is on water world. They are no chances that we can make it near our houses.

My brother in law created this beautiful Singkaban made out of coconut leaves. Many knows how amazing his creations are. My husband was the one who gets it from the tree.

And here's the finished product. We done it with simplicity and all we got. Hubby also saw the others float. He eventually got worried and got insecure with the looks of ours. But he heard that others pay 2500 php or $42.82 just to arrange their floats. We are not really prepared because its also our first time. But we are not doing this for anybody we are doing this for Ria and the blessed virgin Mary.
