The year 2024 was not an easy year for me and my family. I admit that until now we're still worried, the storms are eager to enter to our country. I can't feel that Christmas is near. We already experience three floods and three evacuation looks like nature wanted to to close it to four. The Tropical storm Pepito, international name Man-yi will make a landfall this weekend. The previous are already horrifying and my husband said that this storm will bring us the largest flood for this year.
But before that happen my son and his classmates already accomplished there English Dance in their school. I suddenly asked my daughter what did they dance when they were in grade 9. She said she didn't experience it because of the distance modular learning cause by the COVID-19. Their batch graduated online, grade 9 and 10 my daughter is home schooling. So she said to her brother to enjoy being a high school student. My eldest daughter is having a hard time in college she didn't expect that it will be stressful as that.
My son is not into dancing but because their grade will be based on their performance he practice and practice for their dance. It was not easy to wake up at 5am take a bath and go home at noon time. Take a little rest then after; go to the place where they are going to practice their dance. They practice their step for more than one week but still not enough to be the champion of grade nine.
But I love to see them praying before the competition starts. On the second photo my son is on the first kid on the left. They encourage each other to do their best. My son was sad because they didn't won, but I told him that losing is also part of the competition. The most important is you participated and did your best.
They used light materials for their props. While the winning section had costumes. All grade 9 didn't expect that but they expect that they spent money for their equipment. Later on they realize the results why their section was not chosen. The experience was the most important. They know what to do next and for sure they will do better.
